Early Mornings in the Tetons
•
On a whim, we drove over to the Tetons for one of our last hikes of the season. We woke up at 3am and hiked through the freezing cold to the lake for sunrise, and I was finally able to catch this place with still water and a dreamy reflection (with the bonus of some ice). A great way to close out the 2026 hiking season.

Autumn at Mount Rainier
•
Despite a really busy couple of months, Marissa Guy and I still made time to get up to Mount Rainier and see some fall colors. We made our way back up to where we got engaged last year through the huckleberry fields, and braved the 5am wake up call on the way home from getting married at the end of September to catch sunrise on the east face of Mount Rainier. I can’t wait to spend some more time in the area next fall.

Spring in the Saguaros

After an oddly warm winter, the flowers in Arizona were blooming early and we managed to catch the beginning of the season. While we didn’t get to see the desert in full bloom, the landscape gave us a show during golden hour for the short couple of days we had there.

Surrounded by Saguaro

Some shots from Saguaro National Park and the Superstition Mountains. It was the first time I’ve been to this part of the country, and I was blown away by the scale of the cacti and how it covered the hillsides. It was a gorgeous landscape to explore, but I’m not a fan of the rattlesnakes and scorpions we stumbled upon.

Marymere Falls is one of our favorite stops in Olympic National Park.
It’s less than 2 miles round trip, and the walk in feels like a highlight reel, mossy old-growth, footbridges, and that dark green Olympic rainforest vibe. Then you round the corner and the falls show up.
