Road trip complete! CHESTNUT arrived safely in Marion, Massachusetts, for the H Class Nationals, hosted by Beverly Yacht Club.

What a charming town! Libby, Alie, and I received such a warm welcome from our fellow H12 competitors.

Tomorrow is practice, followed by racing Saturday and Sunday with 30 boats on the starting line.

We’re excited to be here—wish us luck! ⛵️

What began as an idea just two years ago has now grown into the Newport H12 Women’s Fleet—14 boat owners, more than 40 members, and this past weekend, our first invitation to compete in the New York Yacht Club’s Tiedemann Classic Yacht Regatta.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As Fleet Captain, I couldn’t have been more thrilled to see our fleet represented on the line among some of the finest classic yachts in the world.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sailing aboard my 1930 Herreshoff 12½, CHESTNUT, my crew and I were honored to finish 2nd in the H12 Class, earning a podium finish at this extraordinary event.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am incredibly fortunate to sail with such wonderful teammates, the Toppa twins. This is my second season sailing with Allie Toppa, and I continue to be in awe of her racing instincts, tactical skill, and effortless ability to adapt to the race course. To make the weekend even more special, she brought her twin sister, Liza, to sail with us. Without question, we also won first prize for having the most fun.

Newport delivered.

At the 172nd Annual Regatta of the New York Yacht Club Regattas, Cavallino earned a place on the podium with a 3rd place finish 🥉.

Congratulations to an exceptional sailing team. What a wonderful start to the 2026 season. The future looks bright, and Cavallino is roaring to go! ⛵️🐎

KNICKS CHAMPIONS!

My son Harry, somewhere in the Pacific Ocean off Tonga, crossing the Pacific as part of the Around the World Oyster Rally.

Despite 13–18 foot seas aboard SY Endeavor, he wasn’t about to miss Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

I’d say he was pretty happy with the result.

Today marks the start of the most beautiful race in the world, the , and here are some of the magical moments I’ve captured over the last few days ❤️

I won’t be able to follow it in person this year, but I’m there in heart and spirit, with the enthusiasm that has always set me apart.

To all my friends: enjoy this adventure; the emotions you feel from lap to lap are unique and leave lasting memories.

In the meantime, the E.A. KAHANE Galleria is open, and you can go and discover the incredible stories I’ve captured over the years during this very special event.

On warm days of summer in Brescia, you head to Lake Garda for an Apertivo and little shopping. It’s especially fun when joined by my dear friend (aka Italian sister), Paula Milani. Otherwise you will find Paola at serving only Italian food from the region with the best view in Brescia! I treated my friends, Jen’s & Jessica visiting from Newport, RI, for lunch at Paola’s for an authentic Brescia experience!!! ⛵️
