Everyone wish a Happy 10th Birthday to my baby boy Ethan! I can’t even put into words how amazing this kid is. Friends with everyone. Excellent grades. The gentlest heart and an incredible brother. His new teacher at his new school has already called him a “leader”. Hopefully not in the cultish kinda way. 🤣 I am incredibly proud of the little man he’s become.

Listen, if you’re on the fence about getting photos done, just do it. Find someone in your style and in your budget and just do it. I feel so fortunate to have these photos of my boys throughout the years. I can’t get this time back. Neither can you. But I do have these photos and they’re the most valuable thing in the world to me.

Back to school looks a little different for the boys this year. Both of them are at different schools. It’s a change and the first week was interesting for each of them to say the least. I couldn’t be more proud of the way they’ve handled this change. It has to be scary!

Every year we do photos when school starts and this year is no different so we did them at their schools! It’s hard to look through the lens at these boys and not think about how incredibly lucky I am to have them and for them to put up with me and my camera.

It also reminds me of how lucky I am to have this job and to be able to capture my boys the way I do. It’s a lot of work but I also believe it’s a gift. The way I see and photograph my boys is uniquely mine and no one can take that from me. I can only hope my clients see their children through my work the way that I see my own!
