Another special Birthday Club session with this sweet family! We love watching our Birthday Club families grow and getting to capture all those milestones along the way. This session was extra special as they celebrate their little one before becoming a big sibling this fall! One more session as a family of three before a brand-new chapter begins. We can’t wait to meet that sweet baby and capture all the love, excitement, and memories that come with becoming a family of four! These little moments go by so quickly, and we’re so thankful to be there to capture them!

Who says you can’t do a practice photo shoot to make sure the pink outfit is just right for the first day of work? Here is Rachel dressed up, standing tall and ready to take on her first official day of work holding the equipment for dad. The pink outfit might be new, but the confidence had been building for years. Finally, getting to step out of the office to help dad on a real location event was very exciting.

Even the photographers need to step to the other side of the camera sometimes. Because capturing the moment is great, but being in the moment is pretty special too.
We spend so much of our lives behind the lens — fixing hair, adjusting light, watching for the perfect expression. We’re usually the ones saying, “Okay, everyone squeeze in!” But every now and then, we hand off the camera and step into the frame ourselves.
