Starting tomorrow, all of our pasta portions are getting a little upgrade. We're increasing our standard portions from 6oz to a half-pound of fresh pasta — with no increase in price!

Some of the best pasta I’ve ever had, right here in DuPage County.

Poppies Pasta is definitely worth all the hype and attention they’re getting right now. If you’re looking for a delicious lunch or dinner spot, definitely check them out!

I also loved photographing their pasta, and of course, I had a true battle while editing because all I wanted was another plate! 🍴

I can’t wait to share more… and maybe make you hungry as well! This dish features the Gnocchi Trio, 1 lb of gnocchi tossed with three sauces: vodka sauce, basil pesto, and four cheese sauce, all topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano. Absolutely incredible.

One of the most meaningful parts of my photography journey over the past few years has been my work with On Angels’ Wings (www.oawphoto.org).

I first began volunteering as a remembrance photographer in St. Louis in 2021, and what started as a way to give back quickly became something incredibly close to my heart.

Since moving to the Chicagoland area, one of my biggest goals has been continuing this work and helping grow awareness and support locally. Today, I serve as both a Board Member and Chicagoland Area Coordinator, where I help recruit volunteers, connect with local resources, support families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss,as well as follow along with their kiddos' ongoing journeys, all while helping grow this service area.

As photographers, we often talk about preserving memories and telling stories. Through this organization, I’ve seen firsthand just how deeply meaningful photography can be during some of life’s hardest moments.

I’m excited to continue building community here in the Chicago area, connecting with local photographers, businesses, and supporters who want to help make these services more accessible to families throughout the region.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my photography journey over the years and allowed me to use photography in ways that go far beyond just taking photos.

Made this at Creative Cards and Crafts during Ann’s class on the Spirelli Technique! While this particular card doesn’t use the Spirelli Technique, we did get to experiment with a Shimmer/Metallic spray that added such a fun texture to the purple background. ✨

All month long, they’re hosting their “Fall into Crafting” Event—meaning they’ll be open every single day (which is not their usual schedule). Perfect time to stop by and stock up on supplies! 🍂✂️
