I always enjoy photographing this group of leaders in St. Louis! The Neighborhood Leadership Fellows program at UMSL helps "increase and amplify the voices of residents at the civic decision-making tables in order to produce stronger regional policies for neighborhoods." I got to hear about some of the incredible work they are involved in (from alders, to mayors, to organizers), and was honored to capture their portraits. Even better that two of my neighbors are part of this year's cohort :)

It was a beautiful evening photographing Rosa and Aaron in Forest Park. I'm looking forward to what I know will be a joy-filled wedding in October :) The Nature Scape is becoming one of my favorite places to photograph lately. So many little nooks and signs of spring and summer!

There have been so many things to celebrate this spring, I can hardly keep up! I had the privilege of photographing Erika and Osiel’s wedding this past weekend at their home. They were surrounded by close friends and family. Erika was surprised with a bouquet of beautiful sunflowers, which were her mother’s favorite 🌻 A photo of her was included on their backyard altar, which was a way to honor and include her memory on this special day. Felicidades!

I'm looking forward to celebrating Jessica and Jonathan this Sunday! What a beautiful session we had with a few spring blooms and lots of laughter. They had their first date at Ices Plain and Fancy, and the rest was history.

I also loved getting to take a double foot-pop picture on a Tower Grove bridge. Much better than the Princess Diaries :)

Believe it or not, headshots can be fun! Rosha did a great job incorporating her favorite professional looks. The colors and styles she chose accentuated her personality. I always tell clients that the most important thing is to wear something you feel GOOD in. It comes across on the camera. She knocked it out of the park!
