Something spooky is growing around here… and apparently, it’s pumpkins with a face!

When your Halloween spirit gets a little out of hand and you decide to become the jack-o’-lanterns yourself! A little pumpkin-headed mischief, a few laughs, and just enough spooky fun to make this Halloween one to remember.

My parents decided to make quite the entrance at my minis by showing up as two walking pumpkins! I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard during a session in a while. Between trying to get them posed and barely being able to keep it together behind the camera, they definitely brought the Halloween entertainment!

Wishing everyone a hauntingly happy Halloween! Hope your day is full of treats, tricks, and a little bit of pumpkin magic!

The full gallery reveal for the YMCA Portage Township Gymnastics Team is here!

I look forward to this session every year. There’s nothing better than capturing each athlete in their individual pose while celebrating the team as a whole and their love for the sport.

One of my favorite parts? Hearing the girls scream with excitement every time the smoke comes out! Seeing their reactions as I bring their photos to life makes this session so much fun, year after year.

Sports photography doesn’t have to be ordinary. I love creating unique images that let athletes stand out and give them something a little different from the usual team photos.

When I started my photography business, I dreamed of days like this. A fully booked mini session, meeting new clients, capturing memories, and turning something I’ve always been passionate about into a business of my own.

This weekend really made me stop and think about how far I’ve come. The long nights, the long weekends, and the times I’ve been burning the candle at both ends have all been worth it. I built this business from the ground up, and I couldn’t be prouder of what it’s becoming.

I get to create lasting memories for families, document some of life’s most important moments, and do something I genuinely love. Sometimes I have to remind myself that this is something I once only dreamed about, and now I get to call it my job.

I love every second of it, and I truly feel like I’m living my dream. A little reminder that hard work really does pay off, and I’m so excited to see where this business takes me next.

Thank you for all my clients, past present, and future, for allowing me to be the one to capture your memories.

Today is the day for fall minis! My evening is officially FULLY BOOKED with families and couples ready to enjoy some fall fun in front of the camera!

The weather is looking beautiful, and I can’t wait to spend the evening capturing sweet moments and making memories with you all. It’s going to be a great day, and I’m so excited to see everyone soon!

Lilly has spent her entire life in cheer. When a sport has been such a huge part of your world, it’s hard to imagine what it feels like when that chapter starts to come to a close. As her senior year moves forward, so does a sport that has shaped so much of who she is.

As a photographer, these are the sessions that mean so much to me. It’s not just about taking pretty pictures in a uniform. It’s about preserving a piece of someone’s story. The years of hard work, the dedication, the early mornings, the countless hours spent practicing, and the memories made along the way. All the things that make saying goodbye so incredibly hard.

Getting to document this part of Lilly’s senior year for her and her mom was so special to me. I know how much cheer has meant to them, and being able to give them something tangible to look back on for years to come is exactly why I love what I do.

Lilly, I hope you always look back on these years with so much pride. The final routine may come, but the memories, the lessons, and the person cheer helped shape will always be a part of you.

Before & After | Gymnastics Edition

I thought it would be fun to share a little before and after from Portage Township YMCA’s gymnastics team pictures!

One image is straight out of camera, and the other is the final edited image. Same athlete, same moment, just the finished look I envisioned when capturing this shot!

One of my favorite things about photographing gymnastics is getting to freeze these incredible moments in time. The height, the flexibility, and the strength these athletes show never get old!

Senior Sunday Sneak Peek | Lilly ✨

Last night was all about Lilly! We had so much fun incorporating both her competitive cheer uniform and her high school cheer uniform into her senior session. Getting to capture both sides of her cheer journey made this session extra special, and I can’t wait to share more from our time together!

A fresh set of headshots for Mikey Day.

It was such a pleasure getting to work with Mikey again and capture some updated portraits for his voice acting and all of the exciting opportunities ahead.

I love when I get the chance to work with returning clients and create something new for where they are in their journey. These images feel like such a great reflection of Mikey right now — natural, confident, and polished while still letting his personality come through.

Lilly’s senior experience is off to the most beautiful start.

This was our first session together, and honestly… I’m not sure how we’re going to top this one. Between the gorgeous flowers, beautiful landscape, and that stunning white dress, everything came together so perfectly for Lilly. These photos feel so timeless, and I’m absolutely loving how this session turned out.

And the best part? This is only the beginning. We have so many more sessions and opportunities planned throughout her senior year, and I cannot wait to see what we create next.

And speaking of Class of 2027… I’m still looking for a few more seniors to capture this year!
