These captures found me turning in slow circles, gazing at sunlit canopies, and watching steam lift from dew filled branches on a hike through the Olympic National Forest.

Landscapes will always hold a special place in my photography. The ability to transport a viewer to the feeling of wandering through the woods is not something to ever look past.

Couldn’t subject this landscape to a crop, so here’s one for just Alyssa

Getting to watch family interact and laugh together during a shoot is my favorite part. Even if it means a brother is dumping twigs, sticks, and leaves on freshly done hair to get some “fall foreground”.

Hate to say it, but it worked, may need to hire an assistant.

You should never feel like your family and kids have to smile for the camera and that’s all. A family session should be a time to enjoy your family and spend time with them. ☀️

What a lovely time celebrating these two girls and their families in this special phase of life.

These photos are ones their kids will look at for decades, and wow it is such an honor to be able to capture this for them

One last catch up post for my two missing photober prompts. Took a short walk around the neighborhoods today to photograph the fall colors and flowers hanging on.
