The low pink and gold sunlight, warm soups, cozy game nights, rainy library inquiries, knitting, dream journals, and holiday theater tickets always spark the creative call. I am so happy to offer what I still have open for regular sessions and the exciting opportunity for a limited time: Art Portrait sessions in conjunction with my Artist Residency &Union, just two blocks from SAM! One of my greatest loves as a photographer is to create something beautiful to celebrate relationships

Your Consult:

Customize your ideal session with Rosemary during a convenient online Zoom session. This includes planning your unique location, clothing, and theme.

Your Session:

We will meet on location at your booked session. We will cover an in-depth combination of images, and settings, celebrating the dynamic relationships and personalities unique to you.

Viewing session:

A scheduled Zoom session to view your gallery with Rosemary. Rosemary has extensive experience in fine art print and design, that will help you get the most from your session. All sessions include either a print credit or print products.

AUGUST bookings:

All bookings made through self-booking in August for Sept-Nov shoots will recieve an additional $100 credit for future booking towards headshots, individual, couple or family sessions. This can also be gifted to a friend.

This is a wonderful opportunity to commit to advancing your portfolio, skillset or to build a body of work. That dream you've always had about curating a show, or portfolio can happen this summer and I'm here to help you grow leaps!

As a student with Rosemary, you will experience a unique journey tailored to your individual interests and expertise. You will receive a one-on-one assessment of your current level of interest and expertise, and together with Rosemary, you will chart a pathway for your artistic development. Whether interested in beginning photography, creative practice, or commercial development, you will acquire a crucial skill set in the areas you wish to explore. Through assignments, practice, lectures, research, personal guidance, and critique, your ideas will be nurtured and expanded, helping you to develop and commit to your goals. Rosemary warmly welcomes students from ages ten and up. Younger students will immerse themselves in artistic practice, while adult students may wish to delve into more specific goals related to their chosen field of study.

As Rosemary's student, you are provided with a safe and creative space to curate and create. Our critiques are designed to foster critical thinking, not criticism. Critical thinking critique is a valuable skill set that will empower students to delve deeper into the 'what' and 'why' behind their work without fear of judgment or negativity.

Students fees

$1,200 ($300 deposit to hold your spot)

starting June 17- August 23 (with vacation accommodations)

*We will meet twice a week for six weeks (in person, Zoom, hybrid) for your chosen time slot.

*after your assessment, we will focus on a student-led project that will become a body of work (portfolio or series). This summer program is your chance to COMMIT to artistic development and your body of work with a 30-year artist in practice.

*These are one-on-one sessions, with a blend of curated group critiques and weekly assignments that may include reading/short film and practice. Students will bring their work to class, finished or unfinished, to push technique development and deepen their authentic style. Students can either continue into the Fall enrollment or use their last session for a plan of action. That is continued practice, submitting to shows, or bringing their portfolio for public commissions.
