We’re officially in the three-day countdown! kick off the season this Thursday, March 26, and is leaning into its reputation as one of the best food destinations in baseball.

Hitting the 50th-anniversary season is a massive milestone for the Mariners, marking a half-century of baseball history in the Pacific Northwest.

It is no exaggeration to say that the new menu lineup is incredibly diverse—there is a massive variety of flavors to choose from this year.

I’m delighted to share a collection of my photographs captured in the Skagit Valley in Washington. When my family and I moved from Texas to Washington in 2012, I was in awe of the sweeping fields of daffodils and tulips that bloom each spring. I was especially moved by the way nature so vividly marks the changing of the seasons.

This exhibition will be held at the wonderful boutique restaurant , known for its exceptional seafood and Pacific Northwest–inspired cuisine. Executive Chef
has thoughtfully created a special course menu inspired by the theme of the show. If you’d like to enjoy the full dining experience on March 5th, I encourage you to make a reservation. Otherwise, please feel free to stop by and take in the artwork at your leisure.

I look forward to seeing you there.
Best,
Kayako

We went on a field trip to taste umami burger 🍔. The burger was packed with deep umami flavor—caramelized onions enhanced with , wasabi aioli, shiso leaves, and sautéed maitake mushrooms that added an amazing texture. We were joined by the owner of , , and Yoshi-san from .us , bringing together more than 60 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry. It sparked a thoughtful and inspiring food discussion, opening the door to many exciting possibilities.

I’m thrilled to share that a new set of my artworks is now installed in Pioneer Square. One of the pieces received an award from in U.K. and was exhibited near Trafalgar Square in London. I’m incredibly grateful to for the opportunity to show my work.
💐
The restaurant has an amazing vibe that truly elevates my artworks—open, welcoming, and infused with an urban Japanese feel. During Art Walk on February 5th, Executive chef will be preparing a special course menu in conjunction with the event. I highly recommend checking it out—the menu looks absolutely mouthwatering.
