As esteemed service dogs with , empathy is their super power and joy is their specialty!

Mondays are hard. Short, dark days are too. This my friends, is why Dog created puppies, kittens and ponies.

Can you believe this beauty was once a Mexican street dog? The kind that had to dumpster dive for meal scraps? With hair like that, it's no wonder she got scooped up by the first dog model scout who laid eyes on her!

Meet Daphne...this beautiful and sweet girl definitely was meant for the catwalk! Ehem...or should I say dog walk?

Hi Friends, This is a long overdue thank you for all of your kind words regarding Clooney. Each and every sentiment meant the world to us, and we apologize for the delayed response. The grief has been way harder than I ever imaged.

Clooney was my heart and soul and I've honestly been lost without him. Saying goodbye to him shortly after losing our last kitty, Dot; then followed by the passing of Jane Goodall has been a lot for my sensitive heart.

This week has been especially hard as it's squirrel season - his favorite time of year. Even when his arthritic bones barely managed a few blocks and his voice rasped like he smoked a pack too many; he told off those neighborhood nuisances with such impressive vigor. So, it's been lonely without him.

Thankfully, Jitterbug is managing better than me, and I suppose I'll catch up eventually. In the meantime, she suggested I post a kitten, because...let's be real...kittens make everything better. This was taken in Turkey (2023) when I was supposed to be photographing horses; but always a sucker for a wayward kitty. There's just something about these fuzzy little purr machines that makes everything OK in the world.

Hug your babies for us and thank you again.

Alchmy's Leading Man Clooney
May 11, 2011 - July, 3, 2025

Hi Friends, just a quick note that we said goodbye to Clooney earlier this summer. He told me he was ready, and though I wasn't (and still am not), I honored his timeline. The grief has been absolute hell and we are all trying to figure out how to navigate life without our little man. He was my heart and soul, and I'm absolutely lost without him.

I still have a hard time talking about it, but am slowly sharing more broadly, so wanted to let his biggest fans know.

Buggy is doing OK, but I think she's lonely and misses her big brother. We lost DOT (our cat) in January, so this is the first time she's has been an only "child", but she's adapting. Thank you all for loving him as he deserved to be loved. 🥰

Please hug your babies for me...

Friends! Do you remember that kid in school who could take a piece of Bubble Yum and create the most impressive piece of gum art in just one measured exhale? Well, imagine if that kid was a dog, and that gum was slobber. It would make that memory all the sweeter!

This is Otter! Master slobber bubble blower and thief of hearts. Though, he looks like a sea otter, he's actually a 50lb American Staffordshire Terrier. He loves a good snack and nice long walks, but is just as happy snoozing with his favorite human by his side. He's currently available for adoption through and is hoping for a calm, childfree home so he can relax all day and provide loyal companionship to an adult human.
