I’ve rewritten this post so many times and finding the right words has been insanely hard: I am stepping away from weddings for the time being. This decision has been weighing on me for the last year and has included countless nights of lying wide awake in bed with ruminating thoughts and many many tears. My passion for theatre has been reignited (check out the new theatre company I am helping build Bleecker St. Playhouse!) and it’s become very hard to do both. Plus, with my husband and I are making plans for the future and having some health things to focus on, it just makes sense for now. Words can’t describe how much I’ve loved being a part of people’s wedding days and I’m so grateful to have so many clients who have continued to choose me to capture their growing families. I’m still here to photograph couples, newborns, families, theatre productions, etc. Maybe in a few years down the road, I’ll dip my toes back into weddings, but I’m closing the chapter for now ❤️
