There aren’t words to describe this week.

To stand in the middle of some of God’s most beautiful creations and be reminded, over and over again, of how big He is and how small we are.

The mountains, the lakes, the winding roads, the quiet moments of wonder… they were breathtaking. But what impacted me most wasn’t the scenery.

It was watching God meet people here in different ways. And it wasn’t always pretty + picture perfect.

Watching walls come down.
Watching friendships form.
Watching creatives remember why they started. Watching people make room for wonder again.

This week challenged me and stretched me in a million ways and I’ve learned so much — not just a retreat host, but specifically a Christian Business Owner, why At The Well is different from anywhere else you’ll go. There’s a balance of grace and truth here, where hard conversations can take place without guilt or shame, there’s integrity and genuine desire to refine the experience and make it even better than the one before.

Italy, you were beautiful. But the Creator behind it and all the ways He showed up despite the ways we fell short is even more beautiful 🇮🇹

I want to challenge you this week…

Stop waiting for the house to be cleaner. For life to “stop being busy” — it won’t. Just take the pictures on an ordinary Wednesday and let your kids tackle you to the ground and laugh with you. Learn ONE new thing about your significant other this week and build the friendship within marriage.

Set up your tripod. Hand the phone to someone. Get in the frame.

This is the kind of ordinary you’ll want to feel again. These photos are what you’ll see in your mind, it’s the joy you’ll feel, the laughter you’ll hear… and if God forbid, your memory fails you, you’ll have this to remind you of the season that they couldn’t see past you and you were their whole entire world. This is why I love what I do. It’s not just one day—it’s the stories that unfold over time. It’s the messages I get from past bridesmaids saying it’s their turn and they want ME to capture their day!? Unreal. 🥹✨
