I started taking pictures in high school with a Pentax K1000, an all manual 35 mm camera. If there was a way to get dark room time you bet I found it. Since I have moved into the digital age of photography, it is hard to keep me away from shooting and developing. Photography is my passion as well as making people happy with my work.

I would like to say, rebranding your business is not for the faint of heart. This is me, Anne, wearing my heart on my sleeve and sometimes on my face. Poker face is not my thing, but RBF isn’t my style either. 

I dug deep, crying to my besties on a video chat before I even figured out how or where I wanted to go with my photography business. I found that my happiest moments are when I had a sense of belonging and that is something that I hope everyone feels.

There’s just something about a barn wedding that feels like home. Or it might be that I grew up in a town where the cow population rivaled human one.

I am bringing those cozy, rustic vibes to the forefront today. While we’re dreaming of the rolling meadows at The Barn at Bull Meadow, we’re feeling all that Savannah-style hospitality and grace.

All the dreamy Savannah pictures lately reminded me that celebrating with friends and family, and documenting those moments are just as important as the intimate ones.

Some days the world feels like it’s spinning a little too fast… headlines loud, timelines heavy, everything just a bit harder than it should be.

And then there are days like today in Savannah.

Soft light on the water, a warm breeze off the coast, and that quiet reminder that beauty still exists — and we’re allowed to pause long enough to feel it.

If things feel heavy right now, take this as your permission slip to slow down. Step outside. Call someone you love. Take care of yourself and the people around you. The world will still be there when you get back — but you’ll meet it with a steadier heart.

Savannah has a way of reminding me: even in uncertain times, there is still light worth noticing.

Can you believe this was taken in a cemetery? Bonaventure Cemetery might be a creepy place for pictures, but it doesn't have to show in the images. I also get to say I live in a place where flowers blossom in January!
