My heart is heavy seeing what this hurricane has done to the place we love. These beaches are more than a beautiful backdrop—they’re home. They’re where we raise our families, build our dreams, and make memories.

Cell service is still spotty, power is still out for so many of us, and WiFi isn’t even a thing yet. If you haven’t heard back from someone, please give them a little grace. We’re all trying to get through this and stay connected however we can.

It’s hard to find the right words when so many people are hurting. I’m praying for everyone facing loss, for those working tirelessly to help, and for our community as we begin to pick up the pieces.

The beach will be beautiful again. Right now, my heart is with the people who make this place so special. 🤍

Yesterday’s sunrise belonged to Chloe. 🌅🤍 And yes, getting up before the sun was absolutely worth it!

This is why sunrise is my favorite—there’s something so special about starting the day at the beach, making memories like these. ✨

Now I’m riding out this storm with a little sunshine on my editing screen. Chloe, I loved our morning together!

Sunrise with Gabby… hurricane prep by lunchtime. 🌅🌀

I took these photos THIS morning! Hard to believe a day that started with a beach session is ending with us watching a hurricane.

For now, we’re hunkered down, and I’m editing Gabby’s pictures—with one eye on the weather. I know staying put is controversial. We’re praying this storm weakens and everyone in its path stays safe. 🤍

Thank you, Jesus, for this beautiful morning and the chance to do what I love.
