Thank you for visiting the gallery site and hopefully you have been able to visit the gallery in Grayton Beach. I've been very fortunate to be able to pursue my life passion as a photographer and to be able to have the support of my family and the small beach town community where I grew up while doing so. I was introduced to photography while in high school, due to a persistent and caring mom not
letting me waste time with study halls so often prescribed. Although we grew up with very little means, my parents were always taking photos of the craziness of our family with their canon 35mm. I was able to shoot with, develop film and travel with this camera during an independent study my senior year. My life has been shaped by having a camera in my hand. Photography has brought me to different countries, introduced me to amazing people and cultures, and it has pushed me to live more and get out of my comfort zone. I have been able to create and have unbelievable experiences and even created a few lifelong friends along the journey. My hope is that my work, my photography (given my minuscule perspective and small amount of time on this pale blue dot) might translate into a connection that allows you to escape to a happy place, a place of wonder...maybe it pushes you to get behind the lens more often or maybe it's just be a reminder of this amazing planet we are so fortunate to live on.
