Carla Gates Photography I’m a southern girl from Atlanta, a romantic at heart, a lover of family, and a cherisher of the extraordinary moments that add up to create a life.

It’s safe to say this is how I ended up with a camera in hand - climbing, rolling, and ducking to capture those beautiful expressions that can’t be put into words. A quote that has challenged me through the years says, “Find what makes you come alive and go do it, because what the world needs are people who have come alive”. That is the best way I can describe what happens when I have a camera in

hand; I come alive in ways that I could have never imagined. I feel so blessed to be invited to share in your special moments that will soon be beautiful memories. I pray that my photos bring you back into those moments and tell a story…a story that is beyond words.

How on earth is 2023 almost over!? Feels like we were just toasting it in yesterday! What a wild ride! I’ve not posted nearly as much as I’d like amidst all of the juggling (of great things 😉) this year, but please know I continue to feel so very blessed to be in your lives and to do this thing called “work” that brings me SO much joy! I love getting to experience and learn from each of you and look forward to sharing all the beauty and love I’ve had the honor of capturing this year! And with that, a few sneaks of Hayley + Brock! The skies opened up to give us a beautiful Rosemary day and our good luck rain held off just long enough for us to get all the beautiful shots and dance under cover! It was so much fun celebrating these two and I couldn’t get enough of her sassy getaway fit! (check it out at the end ;)🤍
