So, this is happening ...

I spent the best of 2023 in the Goldfields following in the footsteps of J.J. Dwyer and T.F. MacKay with my camera. The work is being exhibited at the Museum of the Goldfields, opening at the end of November.

We're having an opening celebration at the Museum on Saturday, December 7. Come on out!

Not only did Natalie Damjanovich-Napoleon perform at the opening but my dear friends Victoria Williams and Mark Olson reformed The Original Harmony Ridge Creekdippers for the night.

This image was in both of those exhibitions. It was the last photograph I made after spending a week photographing at Buchenwald and was nice note to end a very emotional week of photography on

Established in 1987, the Atomic Photographers Guild is an international collective of artists and photographers dedicated to making visible all facets of the nuclear age from 1945 to the present. Members of the Guild continue to variously engage the ethical, ecological, historical, and scientific dimensions of both the civilian and militaristic applications of nuclear technology through exhibitions, publications, lectures, and bi-monthly webinars. Members have included the world’s first two atomic photographers, Berlyn Brixner (Trinity atomic bomb test) and Yosh*to Matsushige (Hiroshima atomic bombing), the first photographer to document the Kazakhstan nuclear testing tragedy, Juri Kuidin as well as the first photographer to document the Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster, Igor Kostin.
