And that’s a wrap on my 2026 wedding season✨!

to all of my incredible couples, thank you so much for choosing me. I feel so lucky that out of all the photographers in the world, you chose me. I can’t tell you how much fun I had capturing your love stories. I feel like I truly have the best couples in the world and I’ll cherish you all forever.

To my fellow vendors, the planners, second photographers, videographers, content creators, florists, hair and make up team, rentals, venue managers, DJs, and all in between, I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you. These days wouldn’t be possible without you all. And I love the laughter we share on wedding days, the diet cokes, and the joy we share in making these days a dream for our couples. I especially feel so grateful for the Santa Barbara wedding community, it feels like what we have is special. I’m super stoked to be a part of it!

Now off into hibernation I go, time for me to continue editing the rest of the amazing weddings from fall, soak in family and friend time, and probably read a few dozen books✨

I think about this a lot honestly. Showing up on the day with a positive attitude to capture the magic and then all of the editing that goes into it is just one part of it.

What you don’t see is the moments that happen behind the scenes on the day of. The little fires we try to put out without you knowing, the moments when we try and shift the energy when we can tell that you are feeling anxious and overwhelmed, being able to read the room and know when to step away when you need a moment yourself. It’s putting your needs and wants first on your wedding day. I’m very protective of the energy of the couple that I’m working with because I know how overwhelming a wedding day can feel especially with all of the opinions of family and friends.

But something I will constantly remind you of throughout the day is it’s just about you two, it’s just about your love and celebrating that. If you need to take a second, I’ll give you that second and more, if you’re over taking portraits, we can be done, if you need space from certain people, I’ll create that space for you. All that matters is that you’re present with your partner. And part of my job is truly trying to make that happen for you.

As a daddy’s girl myself this moment absolutely killed me. A father helping his daughter get ready for her big moment as the flower girl. Do you ever live inside a moment and think to yourself this must be a core memory, this will mean something to them for years to come.

There are so many moments like this on wedding days that are meaningful. Weddings just aren’t about a couple. They’re just as much about the people who love you. The ones who helped tell your story from the start.
