Looking through these from our last visit and realizing it’s never really the big things I miss.

There’s a kind of beauty in the simple life back home that I don’t think you fully appreciate until you’re away from it.

Nothing needs to be polished. Nothing needs to be impressive. Life just happens… a little messy, a little slower, and somehow full of so much character

Not everything needs to be perfectly posed to be beautiful.

Sometimes it’s the champagne in hand, the veil in the wind, the kids doing their own thing and everyone forgetting about the camera. All these little perfectly imperfect moments.

You couldn’t recreate it if you tried.

Sometimes, we put so much importance on photographing the big moments that we forget how much of a memory lives in the little ones.

That’s the magic for me. Not just remembering what your wedding looked like, but remembering what it felt like to be there. That’s the good stuff.

Hi, it’s me…..

I’m usually the one behind the camera, watching, noticing, documenting everyone and everything around me. And somewhere along the way, I forget to turn the camera toward myself.

So here I am. No perfect pose. No big moment. Just me, my camera, and a mirror that caught my attention.

I’ve always been drawn to the perfect imperfections.

The expressions that happen in between. The dress that’s no longer perfectly clean. The hat that somehow makes its way around the dance floor. The laughter, the tears, the drinks in hand, the slightly chaotic moments that no one could have planned.

Because a wedding isn’t meant to be perfectly posed from beginning to end. At some point, you put the timeline away, kick off the shoes, mess up the hair and just celebrate the hell out of being married.

And that’s what I want to photograph.

Not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt.

The beautiful. The ridiculous. The emotional. The imperfect.

Celebrating the celebration, exactly as it happened.
