m+v at sf city hall last july 🤍
we started the day getting ready on a beautiful saturday morning at the ritz carlton surrounded by m+v’s closest family and friends. then we headed over to sf city hall, which m+v had bought out for their wedding day.
instead of having their ceremony in the rotunda like most couples do, m+v exchanged their vows on the grand staircase, taking advantage of having the entire building to themselves.
afterwards, we spent the rest of the afternoon wandering through all four floors of city hall for bride & groom portraits.
normally, city hall is bustling with the sounds of dozens of couples getting married, guests moving between ceremonies, and photographers capturing it all. but with the entire building reserved just for them, the atmosphere felt much more peaceful, quiet, and unhurried.
we were able to slow down, take in the magnificent architecture, and enjoy having this incredible space all to ourselves.
