I was so honored to be a part of this special and intimate wedding for my friend. Set off of one of their favorite hiking trails with close friends and family I witnessed just how special their love for each other is. There were so many tender moments, with laughter and inside jokes it was like they had known each other all their lives.

I know I have been a little MIA recently but life got a little crazy. I know the moms on here can relate to the end of the school year craziness. End of school events, recitals, birthday parties, all of it while holding down a full time job and running a business, I let my social presence slide.

But I have been out there working. Mommy & me minis, weddings, milestone moments, senior portraits, ballet recitals, really a bit of everything. My goal is to be more consistent so stay tuned for some photo dumping and dates for upcoming grandparent and 4th of July minis.

Have you watched Bridgerton? I admit I haven’t yet but u swear this session was giving me serious Bridgerton vibes. The gorgeous dress with its soft pinks and whites and of course the lace up bodice. I was kinda obsessed and I can’t wait to show you the shoes.

This session came with its challenges which will always remind me to stay flexible. From the blossoms at the Capitol being gone (seriously so short lived) and the freeway being shutdown and then stuck for over an hour it actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Luckily I knew of a park near the exit where they were forced to exit that I knew still had blossoms so I hopped in my car and raced to meet them. All in all they turned out beautifully.

Just a quick snapshot of what I have been up to so far this year! From birthdays to mini sessions to engagements and of course fashion there has not been a dull moment so far. I swear I blinked and suddenly it’s April! Looking ahead I will be scheduling some Mother’s Day minis so keep an eye out for dates.
