Every session I try to find something new to play around with. This session was taking a location I often shoot at and seeing it from a new perspective. The results? I finished off extremely proud!

New in my editing that I decided to try out was incorporating an almost โ€œglam-botโ€ style to the black and white editing on the portrait you can find on the bride. The unconventional cropping (always providing the original in case itโ€™s not my clients cup of tea!) andddddd how about that elevator pose? ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

The parking ramp engagement session from a dream! I actually met Marissa personally when she joined my book club ๐Ÿ‹ always so kind, down to earth and genuine. I love even the parts of you that are kept in the dark. ๐ŸŒŒ

When Vivian came to me with her Pinterest board for her engagement sesh, I knew would be the perfect place for the moody and intimate engagement session.

I am absolutely in love with the mix of warms, black and whites, flash utilization and the hints of greensโ€ฆ almost like itโ€™s shot on film. The blurryโ€™s, the grainy, the sharp contrasts. Not to mention the love between the two celebrated in between poses with each kiss, with each touch.

I hope this engagement session reminds you that love is about exploring, learning your partner not just in their light but in the deepest parts they keep hidden. Love isnโ€™t just about loving during the good happy moments. But in the moments where life tests us and continuing to choose them time and time again.

Be your own muse. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Announcements for July:

Guys, my emails have been pretty full. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿฅน As always, Iโ€™m trying my best balance my art, the business side of it, as well as my family, friends, and self. ๐Ÿซ€ To inquire, please make sure you fill out an inquiry form on my website. Summer is always the busiest time of the year, please consider this when booking. (galleries are returned 2-3 weeks from session date, express editing add on is available upon request!)

I have some mini sessions I plan to announce next week ๐Ÿซ€ itโ€™s a concept Iโ€™ve been called to do and feel a strong responsibility to not only do it, but do it right. โœจ

Weekends are reserved solely for event coverages such as weddings, baptisms, parties, etc. Most one hour sessions are booked weekdays. M&W afternoons. If you must have a weekend session, I can always do early morning Saturday sessions. (Think 7am or 8am.)

Thank you for always cheering on my art, whether itโ€™s sharing, reposting, liking, commenting, referring me to friends and family or booking. The little girl in me grins ear to ear whenever someone trusts me with such special memories to photograph. Beyond blessed for this community ๐Ÿค
