A Quinceañera is so much more than a celebration of turning 15. It is a beautiful milestone of faith, family, and growing into the young woman God has called you to be.

Tracy’s day was filled with so many meaningful traditions, each carrying its own beautiful symbolism. From her Quinceañera Mass and receiving a special blessing, to the presentation of her bouquet to the Blessed Virgin Mary, every moment was a reminder of her faith and the people who have helped guide her along the way.

Surrounded by her family, friends, and loved ones, Tracy celebrated this new chapter with traditions that honor her past while looking forward to the woman she is becoming. From the quinceañera gown and court, to the changing of the shoes, the tiara, and the joyful celebration that followed, every detail told a piece of her story.

And at the heart of it all was faith. A prayer that Tracy will continue to walk with Christ, trust in His plan, and allow Him to guide her through every season of life. Like the book of Numbers states, “May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord let His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.” — Numbers 6:24–25

What an honor it was to capture these moments for Tracy and her family, memories that will be cherished for generations to come.
Happy Quinceañera, Tracy!

As Dolly Parton once said, “Don’t you ever forget who you are where you came from. And don’t you ever let anybody tell you that you can’t do this or you can’t do that. You can do whatever YOU think you can do!.” So today I am reminded of where I started almost 6 years ago. With a little bit of followers as I hiked my way through Minnesota and Wisconsin. Now, I have over 2,000 of you, and I am incredibly humbled by that. So thank you to all that have supported during this time. I love you all more than you know.

There’s a story behind this one.
In 2023, I was driving home from my college roommate’s wedding when I stopped at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. I came across this lone bison, standing quietly at the edge of the badlands, looking out over the landscape.
Something about that moment stayed with me.
Maybe it was the quiet. Maybe it was the feeling of being in between chapters. Or maybe it was just the reminder that sometimes the most powerful moments are the ones you almost miss.
Three years later, I’m incredibly proud to have this photograph displayed in an art gallery this weekend.
A moment from a road trip. A moment I almost passed by. And now, a piece of my story on a gallery wall.

Happy Friday ✨

As Taylor Swift would say… “Make the friendship bracelets”—but also make the memories. 🤍

Your life doesn’t have to hit a major milestone to be worth celebrating. Celebrate the ordinary. Celebrate the season you’re in. Celebrate how far you’ve come. And if you’ve been waiting for a sign to book the photo shoot… this is it.

Because your story deserves to be remembered. 📸

✨ Happy Friday, friends.

As a photographer, I spend my day looking for moments. The big ones—the first kiss, the first dance, the happy tears—but it’s always the little moments that tell the real story.

Surrounded by the beauty of the Mitchell Domes, I’ve watched Caroline and Ryan share hundreds of those little moments. The quiet smiles. The glances that say everything without a word. The way they naturally reach for each other’s hand. Those are the moments that remind you what love really looks like.

One of my favorite parts of their story happened long before today. On one of their very first dates, Caroline made Ryan macaroni and cheese. It wasn’t a five-course meal or anything extravagant. It was simple, comforting, and made with care.

And somehow, that’s the perfect picture of who they are together.

At their wedding, that same macaroni and cheese is on the menu. Not because it’s fancy, but because it’s meaningful. It’s a reminder that the best love stories aren’t built on grand gestures. They’re built on ordinary moments that become unforgettable simply because of who you’re sharing them with.

As I’ve watched the two of them, it’s clear they have found that kind of love. The kind that feels like home. The kind that makes the ordinary extraordinary.

Caroline and Ryan, thank you for trusting me to preserve these memories. It has truly been an honor to witness your story and capture the beginning of this new chapter.

Congratulations on finding your person. May you keep celebrating the little things, never stop making each other laugh, and may your table always have room for one more bowl of macaroni and cheese, because sometimes the simplest traditions become the sweetest reminders of where it all began.
