Maree Miraglia Photography

Maree Miraglia Photography Zion, Utah wedding and elopement photographer I am a lover of psychology, and people. I am the biggest photo perfectionist you will ever meet. I am based in St.

You can find me either dreaming of places I want to travel, or hanging out with my cat in my sweat pants. I am usually the person that will embarrass my family and friends out in public. If you see someone full on dancing in their car to music on full blast, that was probably me. I have a passion for capturing the feeling of love no matter what form it comes in. The raw, the beautiful, the joyous

moments that often go overlooked in our day to day life. My photography aims to capture simple elegance in natural settings. That is what drives my work. I have been taking photos for most of my life. I waited until after my mission to create a business and actually start doing something with my photography. I sincerely believe our passions in life are meant to be pursued. If you are not doing something in life that makes you completely happy everyday and every hour you do it, there is something that needs to change. That is why I made the decision to quit my day job and pursue my photography career full time. The thought of being able to freeze ONE moment in time and encapsulating that feeling eternally has always inspired my work. I specialize in taking wedding and engagement photos, but also enjoy other aspects of photography. If you would like to help me pursue my passion by letting me capture your love story, please send me a message. George, Utah but I love to travel!

I’ll just never understand why people choose to pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a venue

When nature is the best venue

And depending on where you go

IT’S FREE!

can you imagine getting to show all your wedding guests a new place for the first time?

I think that’s the coolest wedding gift- to experience somewhere new with the people you love most.

Cameron+Koreen showing their son Silas the beauty of the desert for the first time. 🥹🏜️

As I was editing these, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the sweet connection these two have and how they had that glow of first time parents.

C+K were so attentive to Silas, and constantly encouraged him to pick up rocks, walk, and explore the vast landscape of Moab. Every move he made these two were in tune with him. There’s something so beautiful about the love parents have for their children, and how there’s magic in watching your child experience life for the first time. I love how kids just find beauty in the smallest of rocks and the feeling of dirt on their hands- and how everything they feel is right there on their face.

This was the review K+C gave me after delivering these:

"Omg, Maree. Me and Koreen just looked through these quickly and we are floored. Silas was having a hard day that day so we thought maybe you’d get a few good ones, and there are so many that we are obsessed with!
We just cannot believe how many good shots you got even with him being fussy and needing to play with your keys lol. You are so talented!! Thank you so so much 💜”

Thank you k+C for giving me a little glimpse in to your family unit and letting me capture it ❤️

Doris and Ram’s elopement day was filled with snow, laughter, and slot canyon vows. 🏜️❤️

These two wanted to climb every cliff for their elopement day.

As we were going over locations, these two had their heart set on going off the beaten path for their vows. When I showed them this spot hidden away in the mountains of Zion with slot canyons and epic cliffside views, these two were sold.

We started on a very popular Zion Trail for sunrise, and then made our way deep in the back country. Switching in to four wheel drive as we made our way through the snow.

These two really lit up as we bushwhacked through snow to the this mountain top. The thing about D+R? The more adventurous (and maybe a little sketchy) the more excited they get. They even started running up the mountain and racing each other to the top 🥹. The even crazier thing?? Doris is pregnant!! I was absolutely floored and awed by her excitement to climb every rock and scale every mountain.

It was an absolute pleasure capturing these two and their adventurous spirits and how they just made each other laugh the whole day. You can definitely see their personalities in each photo we took together. ❤️

Thank you D+M, and I can’t WAIT for your baby to be as adventurous as you two are!

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!! 🌈 🎉

And what better way to kick off pride than sharing the most beautiful weekend I got to spend with Alexi and Juan. 🥹

I had the opportunity to be the third wheel on these two from their sunrise proposal overlooking Zion National Park, to saying "I do” the next day- Vegas style 🎰.

Hanging out with these two for 2 straight days? I can absolutely tell you they are made for one another. The love and joy that they constantly exude when looking in to each others eyes is potent.

One of my favorite stories Alexi shared with me is that he was called on stage to sing at a Katy Perry concert. He didn’t know Juan at the time, but Juan was in the audience and recorded him singing with Katy Perry. They only discovered the coincidence when they started dating. Can someone say.. INVISIBLE STRING THEORY?

Invisible sting theory if you’ve never heard about it is basically this- it explores the idea of fate: that unbreakable, invisible threads connect soulmates and guide people to where they are meant to be throughout their lives.

And I just love that idea. That fate or the universe gives you little glimpses or pulls in the right direction until the time is right to be with your soulmate.

And in the case of these two? I 100% believe it.

A+J thank you for letting me capture your once in a lifetime connection. I will always treasure laughing and running around the desert with you two lovely souls. ❤️

Taylor and Zach’s Mexico wedding was full of laughter, rainbows, and a bit too many margaritas. 😉🍹 🌈

Garrett and I met T+Z at an all inclusive resort in Mexico the year before, and they got engaged on that trip. I was STOKED when they asked me to capture them tie the knot a year later 🥹. It felt like I got to see their story come full circle.

These two started getting ready with their people, and doing a private first look and vows overlooking the sandy shores of Cancun. They even practiced their first dance together before the craziness of the day started. 🥹

Being around these two and their families/ friends it was so clear to me how deeply their people love them. It was heart warming to witness everyone rally together to support them from all over the U.S. to dance the night away with them in Mexico. ❤️

Also- my husband got to D.J. For them, and I have to say he was the best M.C. 🤣

Thank you T+Z for letting me be a part of your day, and making us feel like family! Let’s go to Mexico next year? 😉
