The takeaway from Saturday’s wedding was hallelujah anyway. 🤍
If I’ve learned anything from being in the wedding industry for six years, it’s that you’ve got to roll with the punches. And this bride did just that.
My bride Sadie, who is also a dear friend, had to make a call that no bride ever wants to make. Her beautiful white-tent-in-a-field wedding had to be moved to a gym after rain flooded the tent, with even more storms in the forecast. Devastating news when the vision you’ve worked so hard to create and bring to life suddenly doesn’t pan out the way you imagined.
But in true Sadie fashion, she pushed on. And somehow, she made a gym look like a stunning wedding venue. Her husband’s talent shined, just like I believe God knew it would. 🤍
Hallelujah anyway because she still married the man her mom prayed 27 years for.
Hallelujah anyway because a change of location didn’t change the love these two have for each other. You should have seen the way love radiated off of them.
And hallelujah anyway because at the end of the day, the point of a wedding is to marry your person—no matter where, what, or how.
I’m so thankful I got to watch this day unfold the way it did. I’m so thankful to be a part of weddings filled with genuine, beautiful love.
Cheers to the Robbs! 🥂 All that rain? Just an abundance of blessings for your marriage. 🤍
