lee had reached out to me weeks ago when he realized he was planning the perfect birthday surprise for mary but had forgotten one, final piece- a photographer! i was repeatedly checking the weather forecast in the days leading up to thursday and it kept saying the same thing…rain! despite the chillier weather for the end of may, we lucked out with no rain and the most insane golden hour, sunset, and blue hour!

when cam reached out to me with his plans to propose to megan, it was evident just how much he loved her. from choosing to pop the question at her family’s beach home to surprising her with extra guests after they returned to the house, i knew it was bound to be a special afternoon no matter what. once i arrived, though, it was crystal clear just how loved they *both* are. while meg said yes on the beach and they took a few minutes to soak up the moment alone, their families were quickly decorating the house with streamers, balloons, champagne, and flowers.

Because it was full images that portrayed art, movement, creativity, and freedom. All things that speak to my soul as a photographer.
