CVS file is corrupt… I’ve got to remake all my templates and upload them again…add it to the “to do” list. 😂😂😂😅😤😮‍💨

I’ll do it while working on photos tomorrow evening, it’ll give me an excuse to throw some new postcard designs into the mix.

I’ll see y’all on the 21st.

Mowing the lawn before hunkering down to work on the website. I’ll be focusing on inventory, along with branding tomorrow and photos in Thursday—sometime after therapy. (I think my wife wants some sweets first.)

I feel like I’ve been slacking lately, but it’s all in my head.

Thank you all for the support and turnout yesterday! It went much better than I had anticipated. I’ll be seeing y’all again on the 21st of June for Sunday Stroll, but for today…

How I spent my “day off.”

“USB to Ethernet” acquired, installed a switch and successfully connected the bridge. I rearranged some settings for optimization too. (Lightroom & Photoshop are running like well-oiled machines now.)

Played some Battlefield 6 with a pal, beat Outer Worlds 2 on Hard Mode.

Now I’m looking into another Mini PC to create a three-system cell. It’ll give me something to practice on while I complete the remedial courses like English, History, etc. (Starting a Cybersecurity Course in August, to help with both my small business and potential career prospects.)

Over the next few days/weeks you’ll see some photos from my backlog being uploaded, while I assess my inventory and work on my business model. (My website and little tweaks.)

There is nothing quite like the energy of a Maine maker’s market. To be completely honest, I always get a little bit of pre-market jitters—but seeing everything laid out and getting to connect with you all makes it totally worth it.

Every piece here is a reflection of what I love to do. If you're in Rockland today, I’d be so grateful if you stopped by to hold the pieces and some ask questions.

Finishing up some last minute stuff for tomorrow’s Maker’s Market. I hope I see anyone who’s local there, though y’all are certainly not obligated.

I’ll make sure to take pictures of the booth and such tomorrow. I usually strsss the hell out and lack the enthusiasm to share. 😅😂

“Gallery” Description

🇪🇸 No estoy gordo, hace frío.

🇯🇵 寒くて丸くなりました。

This beautiful male has been hitting the feeder on and off, transitioning between quenching his thirst and playing the role of sentry. He returned alongside a female around May 15th, right before El Niño began messing with the weather. Temperatures swung wildly, dropping from the 70s and 90s down to a chilly 48 to 67 degrees.

The vibrant colors in his feathers are actually caused by microscopic air bubbles and keratin refracting light as he patrols his territory, showing off those brilliant ruby-red, purple, and green tones. (Females, by contrast, lack the vibrant red throat).

In another set of photos to be posted at a later date, I’ll be illustrating how the weather has turned this little speedster into a feathery puffball, swaying in a state of torpor while praying for warmer days.

Working on my back log of photos while stuff prints… then it’s on to slapping em onto the packages! 📦🖨️ I’m feeling super optimistic about this Saturday, June 6th.

Here is a sneak peek at one of the edits in progress.

Tested the Spiratone yesterday in between printing labels and registering my wife’s vehicle. You won’t see the final shots for a few weeks at least, but I had to see how it compared to my Jintu! (You can spot the Jintu deconstructed on the TV stand in the background).

Anyways, still chugging along today. I spent some time reworking my packing process so your orders look even better when they arrive, and now I’m setting up the final round of labels for the printer. 🖨️

I’ll only ever say this once in a Blue Moon… but I am pausing all shooting for the next couple of days.

I’m currently working through an editing backlog and shifting my focus toward preparing for the Maker’s Market on June 6th. I want to ensure everything is ready and well-stocked for the event, which means trading the camera for computer work and prep this week.

Thank you for your patience while I catch up, and I look forward to seeing many of you at the market on the 6th.
