And in the month of June, it gives us another opportunity to say it again out loud, just in case you didn't know where we stood.

It is and always will be my greatest joy to capture your love, your story, the story of your family, and stand by you on your most important days!

A tiny hand changed their whole world. Every challenge, every laugh, every sleepless night is worth it. I can't believe that their sweet Lucy is already almost 6 months old!

Just in case you were wondering, I love a good themed wedding. Several of our clients are huge Pokémon fans! K+E were huge fans! They had evee evolutions on all of their guest tables in the center pieces! They also had cut outs of their cats included in their reception walk-in. It's just so fun to watch a couple make a wedding completely their own - and include their pets

This evening I get to hang out with a new client, but someone I've worked with at my day job for several years! AND I get to meet her family! Her youngest is graduating high school and we are capturing their last family picture before they become empty nesters 📸

Husbands Take Notes:

If you don't know what to get her, pictures with you and the kiddos never fail to be a winner!

A few weeks ago her husband inquired about buying her a session for her birthday and Mother's Day (because they both fell on the same weekend). He said he had no idea what to get her, but knew this was something she would like because she had been talking about it for a while, and he wanted to surprise her with it on Mothers Day.

Fun fact: We've been friends for almost 15 years, so I knew this is something she would absolutely LOVE!

It was so nice to be able to spend the day with my friend and her kiddos, updating their family photos, strolling around the museum, and watching the kids play in the backyard.

One of the best perks of this gig is that I get to globe-trot (aka crash on friends' couches). The first weekend in May, I spent with this little buddy and his squad in Massachusetts, where we had an epic playdate filled with hot wheels, dance parties, and WWE smackdowns. Oh, and we snuck in a family photo sesh, because priorities - and of course, we had to give Rhett his own solo spotlight to show off those adorable mugshots 😂

I met these two a few years ago through a friend, and I am so honored they invited me to their home last summer to photograph their family! We started on their property with family and couples photos, and ended with photos of their pups in the bathtub! 😍
