it's been a blast meeting new people through photography session in phoenix. it's funny how small the world ends up feeling as sessions commence and conversations flow. serena and jason moved to phoenix right around the same time as i did so they really reallyyyy got the challenge of moving during the summer heat lol (with two dogs!) cheers to a new scenery and built connections!

I am seeing this tradition less and less these days, which honestly makes me sad!! This playful moment is so sweet and really captures personality. My opinion? let's keep it and bring back the bouquet toss while we're at it!

live footage of me pulling up to Phoenix. can’t believe it’s been almost two months! this journey has looked so vastly different than how I imagined it would. but in a lot of ways, it looks better. surrender will do that to you.

I've been thinking a lot about how quickly we forget (at least that's how I feels). I forget all that the Lord has brought me through, all that I've endured on His strength, and how each moment here and there has led me to where I'm at now. I think that's so synchronistic with photographs. I'm so thankful that my middle school friends and I took dozens of pictures documentary our silly personalities. that my parents recording hours of videos of roadtripping across the us; that my brick phone could capture pixelated images in college that I still have to this day. I'm so thankful because each image from there on out, reminds me of the sacred moments of life - mountains and valleys, wins and losses. It's a beautiful, emotional time capsule that holds significant power to bring us together - and I will never take it for granted.

no matter the guest count, size of the bouquet, space within the halls of a venue.. nothing supersedes the emotion you can feel as soon as the bride and groom see each other face to face. on friday I got to capture the wedding of shannon and ryan and it was the most beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony with a dazzling sunset to cap off the night in gilbert, az. wedding season is here and i am alllll for it

honestly, just hearing from the brides, the families, the couples, the grandparents, the recent grad, that these images mean the world to them.. it all continues to validate the purpose behind what I do.

to freeze a moment in time.
to preserve the people, the feelings, the little details.
to create something that can outlast memory itself.

that’s the beauty of imagery. It gives us a way to hold onto moments that, otherwise, we can only remember.

From the quiet moment at the altar, to ch*****ne cheers with the people they love most, to cool dusk walks surrounded by friends and family, every part of this day felt like something worth remembering.

Some moments are meant to be crisp and timeless. Others feel a little softer, grainier, and nostalgic. Together, they tell the whole story.
