Venues that have greenhouses are so special to me because I am a big big big plant girly. I love the way the light comes in, the greenery that typically surround these buildings, and how florals can transform these spaces to look like they’re fairy gardens.

The vendors of this shoot truly brought to life the perfect design — the greens, pinks, and burgundies remind me of a perfect Strawberry Matcha (one of my favorite drinks!) ✨

We truly have some of the best vendors in the Raleigh area and we are so so so lucky to be able to rely on them to perfectly bring together a vision!

Let’s dismantle the myth that guys don’t enjoy taking photos. In my experience, grooms and their groomsmen love having a moment to let loose before the day’s schedule kicks in. It’s a rare chance to just have fun, be silly, and enjoy the excitement of the day without any pressure.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day—whether as a lead or second shooter—is creating a space where the guys feel comfortable to be themselves. Whether that means cracking jokes, striking ridiculous poses, or just hyping each other up, I’m all for it. The energy is always unmatched, and it makes for some of the most genuine, fun-filled shots.

I always tell them, “Give me a couple of solid smiles, and then you can do whatever wild ideas are running through your heads.” And trust me, they never disappoint!

A mix of carefully curated details and natural minuscule moments that could easily go unnoticed.

This is my art as a wedding photographer and my promise to my clients—a gallery that will feel elevated and timeless but romantic, natural, vulnerable, and real.

Often my favorite photos of a gallery end up being those snapshots that I took when nobody was noticing in the spur of a moment like a ninja.

To the sweet couples that I will work with: I vow to always let the day unfold naturally without worries that something will be missed. You will be able to take a step back and trust me that I am documenting the day honestly. My eyes are always scanning the room to not only document what is truly happening but also to anticipate what will happen.

First post or 2025!!! Woohoo!!! 🦋

I guess this is a great time to announce that I am going full time with photography! I am so so so excited to dedicate 100% of my time to BPP. Because of that, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want this year to look like, and there’s a lot, but ultimately I want to surrender my dreams and goals to the Lord.

Time and time again, I sought the Lord and He answered. He’s shown Himself in my life every time without exception. I know He will do it again, and I know He has Purpose for me and my business.

So really, what I want the most, is to serve my clients how Jesus served us and to leave the rest in the control of the Father. I want to be kind, understanding, give the benefit of the doubt, and be a friend to anyone who hires me.

In 2025, I want to be more intentional, I want to be more confident, and I want to be more patient. I want time with me to feel like a safe space, like a moment where people can breathe and relax, like a refuge and provide an experience where people can walk away and feel a little lighter than they did before. I am an imperfect human being, so my prayer is that the Lord helps me to continue developing the skills that I need to walk and serve like Jesus.

So excited to see what happens and so blessed to work with so many amazing human beings this spring and fall! 💌

Merry Christmas from mine to yours! ❤️

I am so blessed — for my clients, for my family & friends, but most of all for this guy. Life with him has felt safe and stable and joyful and right. He’s given me everything I never thought I would have; a home and a refuge.

If you’ve ever had a session with me, there’s a pretty high chance you’ve met my sweet guy, you’ve seen the way he takes hundreds of behind the scenes videos, carries mine and your stuff, demonstrates prompts with me, poses you and fixes the little details out of place, and supports me without complaining. He is a huge asset to BPP and this business couldn’t operate without him.

This is our 7th Christmas together and I can’t wait to see where we will be next year this time around. He is so happy to serve you all and meet all of my clients and frendors, so I wanted to make sure you knew we both wish you all the most wonderful holidays with your loved ones. Cheers! 🥂

Been finding so much joy in courthouse elopements lately!

The excitement as everyone is waiting on the 9th floor, chatting, dancing around, laughing loud. The big smiles as the couple stands in front of the judge, their families recording with their phones out, maybe shedding some tears, and then hurrying to hug the couple as soon as it’s over. Then the moments right after as we start photos, walk around downtown, and laugh a little louder as every car that passes by honks their horns and yells congratulations outside their window in quick passing.

I feel so honored being able to document these moments, knowing one day they will be some of the most cherished photos in the family. 🥹🩵

Thinking back to a time strolling through this magical venue and catching the different light scenarios coming from the windows all over the place! I miss this magical and fun summer day from last year and I am dying to photograph at this venue again! ⛅️

What do all of these photos have in common? They’re all real, unprompted, candid moments! 🎥

On your wedding day, you want a photographer on your side that will be tuned in with you and your guests, someone who knows what to expect and where to turn at the right moment, and someone who understands what matters most to you. I won’t lie to you and tell you that I never offer direction, advice, or help with posing and prompting, but I also understand that a wedding day is filled with hundreds of instances that develop naturally on their own and I will absolutely capture those. I will be as hands off or hands on as you want me to and need me to, but my absolute favorite moments in galleries always come from those raw, authentic, splits of seconds where I captured a laugh, a hug, a cheer, a detail without stepping into the moment — and ultimately that is my goal: to make sure that what you experience isn’t orchestrated, interrupted, adjusted, or scripted. 🥹🫶🏼
