17 years. 🤍

I’ve been photographing Gabby since she was a baby, and somehow I’m now sharing her senior portraits. I genuinely don’t know how that happened so fast.

I’ve been photographing this family for nearly 20 years, through different homes, celebrations, milestones, businesses, and so many different stages of life. Being invited back again and again to document those moments is one of the parts of photography that means the most to me.

And getting to watch a little girl I once photographed grow into this beautiful, kind young woman has been pretty incredible.
Gabby is 17 now and getting ready to head off to college next year, where she’s considering studying speech therapy. She loves photography and volleyball—which makes me especially happy as a photographer who also played volleyball in high school. 📸🏐

But what stands out most about Gabby is how genuinely thoughtful she is. Years ago, I photographed the grand opening of her stepdad’s restaurant. I was there working and running around doing my thing, and Gabby was one of the people who kept checking on me—asking whether I had eaten and making sure I was okay. That little moment has always stuck with me because it says so much about the person she is.

And now here she is. A SENIOR. 🥹

Gabby, you are absolutely beautiful, but even better, you have grown into such a sweet and caring young woman. I cannot wait to see where life takes you next.

After 17 years of photographing you, I’m certainly not stopping now. 🤍 I hope I get to keep documenting all the wonderful chapters still ahead.

Congratulations, Gabby. Class of 2027! 🎓✨

P.S. This was officially a photography first: Gabby is the first client I’ve photographed since she was a BABY who is now old enough to drive ME around to different locations for her pictures. 😂📸🚗 Talk about making a photographer feel old!

Thirteen years together… and now they’re engaged. 💍
Vincent and Diana have been together since they were teenagers — they even went to all of their proms together! After thirteen years of growing up side by side, Vincent brought Diana from Long Island to Newport, Rhode Island, for one very important question.
And honestly, could Newport have shown off any more for them? The lighthouse, the sailboats passing behind us, the warm evening light… it was one of those nights where everything seemed to come together perfectly.
After thirteen years of memories together, they left Newport with a brand-new one — and a pretty beautiful reason to always have a special place in their hearts for this little corner of Rhode Island. ❤️
Congratulations, Vincent & Diana! Here’s to the next chapter of a love story that started long before the ring. 💍🥂

Talk about a DREAM proposal. 💍⛵🎻

Can you imagine coming to Newport on vacation from Miami, thinking you’re simply heading out for a beautiful afternoon sail… and instead, the person you love has planned an entire surprise proposal on the water?

Not only did he hire a photographer to secretly document the whole thing, he hired a VIOLINIST. 🎻❤️

She had absolutely no idea.

We actually had to do a little acting to keep the surprise going, and when the moment finally came and she realized what was happening, her reaction was everything. She was so surprised and so excited that she was literally jumping up and down—which, on a sailboat, had me very happy that she stayed ON the boat. 😂

And can we talk about those FLOWERS?! 😍🌺

The sailboat. The ocean. The flowers. The violin playing. The complete surprise. It honestly felt like photographing a scene from a movie.

What a way to sweep a girl off her feet. ❤️

I feel so lucky that I get invited into moments like this and get to preserve the reactions, the little details and everything that happens afterward.

Congratulations to this beautiful couple! I hope every time you look through these photographs, you get to relive a little bit of the magic of this day. 💍⛵❤️

A little sneak peek from another beautiful Newport proposal. 💍🌊

These two came down from New York City for their Newport getaway, and he had one big request for the proposal: a beautiful view by the water and, if at all possible, a little privacy.

I found what seemed like the perfect tucked-away spot near Brenton Point and waited there for about 30 minutes without another person around. I thought, “This is perfect!”

Naturally, the minute he texted me that they were pulling up, about 20 people appeared. 😂

Thankfully, everyone was incredibly sweet when I explained what was about to happen and gave us some space—and he got his private moment by the water after all. 🤍

I loved photographing these two. Their reaction was so sweet and genuine—just that quiet, happy kind of excitement where the smiles say absolutely everything.

Congratulations to this newly engaged couple! 💍 I can't wait to share more once they choose their favorites.

🚨 Breaking News: I have officially surrendered to Instagram. 📱😂

I fought it.

I complained about it.

I insisted Facebook was enough.
..and yet, here we are. 😅

Apparently, if I want to keep up with the world, I need to learn one more social media platform. Wish me luck! If you see me accidentally posting a Reel upside down... just pretend it was artistic. 😉

🚪 Gates of Middletown 🚪

The next installment in my Gates of Aquidneck Island series is here.

One of the things I love about this project is how each town has its own personality. From coastal cottages to historic stone walls, farm entrances to grand estates, the gates of Middletown tell a story about the people, history, and landscapes that make this community unique.

This series has encouraged me to slow down, explore familiar roads a little more carefully, and appreciate the details we often drive past without noticing.
