As a Mother’s Day surprise this morning the lovely garter snake who lives under the house did an impromptu photoshoot for me! While she is certainly one of the smallest moms on the island she may just be my favorite ❤️

Seals!! I absolutely loved photographing these guys, just in the short time I observed them you could really see their different personalities. Yesterday over a frozen lake in a tiny town in Northern New Hampshire I witnessed the most spectacular event. We stood in the totality of the solar eclipse for 3 minutes and 13 seconds. My focus was much more so on being in the moment and enjoying the experience but I did walk away with some images that I will treasure forever 🤍
