Perfectly posed all day? Not really my thing.

A wedding day that feels like you — a little messy, a little emotional, beautifully unplanned, and completely present?

Kinda chic. 🤍

The blurry dance floor photos. The black and whites. The quiet in-between moments. The champagne spills. The wind in your veil. The photos you didn’t even realize were being taken.

Because the best wedding photography isn’t about creating a perfect day for the camera. It’s about documenting your day in a way that feels elevated, editorial, and completely true to you.

For the couples who want to actually live their wedding day — and have the photographs to remember exactly how it felt.

There’s something so tender about photographing a family in the home they’re just beginning to fill with memories. This family of seven welcomed me into their new space for a lifestyle family photography session that felt less like a photoshoot and more like a fun afternoon spent together — five kids tumbling through sunlit rooms and all the beautiful chaos that comes with a house becoming a home.

Jess gifted her clients the PERFECT gift after selling them their new home. Freezing time in a moment that probably feels overwhelming but also something this beautiful family will want to remember.

As a Connecticut family photographer, I always tell my clients: don’t wait for the “perfect” moment to document your life. The empty walls waiting for art, the kids racing each other down a new hallway for the first time — these are the details you’ll want to remember. In-home family sessions are one of my favorite ways to capture authentic family photography, because there’s no posing, no forced smiles, just real connection in the place where it actually happens.

If you’re growing a family in New England and thinking about documenting a new home, a move, or simply this exact season of life, I’d love to be there for it & Jess is your girl to help you find your perfect home 🏡

The truth is, the most beautiful wedding photos aren’t created because a couple perfectly recreated a Pinterest board. They’re created when a couple is fully present in the day they’ve spent months dreaming about.

Pinterest is an incredible tool for gathering inspiration, but your wedding day isn’t a styled shoot. It’s your dad seeing you in your dress for the first time. It’s your fiancé taking a deep breath before you walk down the aisle. It’s the way your grandmother squeezes your hand during dinner and the tears that show up when you least expect them.

The photos you treasure twenty years from now won’t be the ones that looked exactly like a trend from 2026. They’ll be the ones that bring you back to how it felt.

As a Connecticut and travel wedding photographer, my goal is never to recreate someone else’s wedding. It’s to document your story in a way that feels elevated, intentional, and true to who you are. The details matter, but the moments matter more.

So save the inspiration. Dream big. Pin everything you love.

But don’t forget that the most meaningful wedding photos are the ones that could only belong to you.

The difference between a wedding photo that looks expensive and one that doesn’t has nothing to do with your budget — and everything to do with your photographer’s eye. 🤍

As a New England and Connecticut wedding photographer, I’ve spent six years learning exactly what makes a gallery feel timeless instead of dated: the light, the negative space, the in-between moments most people never think to capture. Save this carousel before you book anyone for your wedding day.

Whether you’re planning an intimate East Coast elopement, a coastal celebration, or a destination wedding down in Charleston, you deserve images that still feel breathtaking in 30 years — not just on the day.

A June wedding at Newport Beach House feels like summer at its absolute best.

With the sound of the ocean just beyond the lawn, salty air drifting through cocktail hour, and a celebration surrounded by family and lifelong friends, this Newport, Rhode Island wedding vibe was effortlessly elegant from beginning to end. The coastal setting created the perfect backdrop for a day that felt both refined and deeply personal.

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings in Newport is how beautifully the landscape becomes part of the story. The shoreline, historic homes, sailboats in the distance, and soft New England light create images that feel timeless without ever feeling forced.

If you’re dreaming of a coastal wedding in Newport RI, a luxury waterfront celebration, or an editorial wedding weekend by the ocean, Newport continues to be one of the most beautiful wedding destinations in New England.

A sneak peek into Liz & Max’s wedding day at their family estate in Bridgewater, Connecticut. 🤍

There is something undeniably special about choosing to say your vows in a place already woven into your story. The home where holidays were celebrated, milestones were marked, and memories were made became the backdrop for one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

From the darling family home to the breathtaking gardens in full bloom, every corner felt personal, intentional, and filled with love. The beauty of a wedding like this isn’t just in the setting—it’s in the history, the nostalgia, and the generations of memories that make the space so meaningful.

Liz and Max created a day that felt effortlessly elegant, deeply personal, and completely their own. The kind of wedding that reminds you that the most beautiful venues are often the ones that already hold your heart.

Taking photos and videos is my love language.

Not because I’m afraid I’ll forget, but because I know how quickly life changes.

I photograph everything because these ordinary moments become the ones we miss the most.

Maybe that’s why I became a photographer. Not just to create beautiful images, but to preserve the feeling of a season before it slips away.

One day these photos and videos will be proof that we were here, that we loved deeply, and that these days—messy, beautiful, ordinary days—were actually the good old days all along. 🤍

Wedding trends get a bad reputation—but the truth is, they’re one of the most powerful tools when planning a modern, elevated wedding.

The best 2026 and 2027 brides aren’t blindly following trends… they’re using them with intention. Whether it’s statement veils, editorial-style portraits, unique ceremony setups, or fashion-forward bridal details—these choices are what transform your wedding from expected to unforgettable. ✨

As a wedding photographer, I see it all the time: the weddings that feel the most you are the ones that take inspiration from what’s current and make it personal.

That’s also what creates photos that don’t just look beautiful now—but still feel relevant years from today.

If you’re planning a wedding and want photos that feel modern, emotional, and elevated… this is your sign to stop fearing trends and start using them to your advantage.

Hi, I’m Andy 🤍
Wedding photographer, mom of four girls, and someone who feels everything — which is probably why I care so much about the moments I capture. I have so many new faces here over the last couple of months so I thought I should say hello 👋🏻

I built Andy Lee Photography around the idea that your wedding photos should feel like your memories — not overly posed, not forced, but honest, emotional, and beautifully refined. My style leans loose editorial… meaning you’ll always have guidance, but never feel like you’re performing for the camera, while still romanticizing your day.

I’m based on the East Coast and travel often for destination weddings — places like Charleston and St. Petersburg have my heart — but what matters most to me isn’t the location, it’s how your day feels.

Because years from now, it won’t be the perfectly posed photo that takes you back… it’ll be the way your wedding album becomes an heirloom, the way your people showed up for you and celebrated you, and how the quiet in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening make you smile.

Outside of weddings, I’m usually with my girls, chasing slower evenings, and holding onto this season of life — which is exactly why I photograph the way I do.

If you’re planning a 2026 or 2027 wedding and want photos that feel effortless, emotional, and elevated… I’d love to be part of your day.

Inquire through the link in my bio — I can’t wait to hear your story.
