“Black & White” Photography featured at Tiverton Town Hall Gallery

The Tiverton Arts Council and Island Photography Group are pleased to announce the 1st of a 3 exhibit series at the Tiverton Town Hall Gallery located at 343 Highland Avenue Tiverton, RI 02878. The 1st exhibit titled “Black & White” opens February 5th and will run until to March 2nd.

This photographic exhibit will feature black and white images created by members of the Island Photography Group. The opening reception is Sunday Feb. 7th from 2-4 pm at the Tiverton Town Hall at 343 Highland Road.

The Island Photography Group is an informal association of over 2 dozen photographers of all skill levels, who meet each Thursday morning for breakfast. The members critique each other’s images, exchange tips and advice, and have a good time.

The Island Photography Group has several continuing exhibits which include; (9 years running, changed 3-4 times each year) at Custom House Coffee on Aquidneck Ave in Middletown, an annual spring exhibit in March at the Newport public library (4 years running) and an annual fall exhibit in October at the Portsmouth public library (9 years running).

The Tiverton Arts Council founded 15 years ago, strives to build community awareness of the arts through engaging citizens in the arts and creative programs.
