Sometimes things don’t go exactly how we plan. But always remember there is a bigger plan, and each event is just a small part of it. Each event, though, is there to teach us something.

The Tacoma Holiday Festival that I participated in ended up being a bust as far as sales, but there were a lot of good things as well. I met really nice people who helped me learn more about selling in a booth. I had a really beautiful booth that I love, and everyone stopped by smiling and laughing, watching the BarnBuds running across the TV screen. And I thought to myself: I am spreading a little bit of joy with my booth.

Yes, I would also like to figure out how to sell more of my work, and i understand that learning takes time. I have another event coming up: the Portland Holiday Market, November 6 to 8, at the Portland Expo Center. I would love to see anyone who is around! Besides prints, you can purchase calendars, and gift cards so friends can choose what they love from my website.

Yesterday was the last equine photography day on the coast for some time.
I still can’t believe it’s only two months since I started this adventure with the Oregon Coast equine photography days. I had 2 in July, 5 in August and 4 more in September.
I think the most amazing thing to me except for the opportunity to actually take all these amazing photos was to meet so many amazing photographers, and more than that to see so many of the photographers attending multiple times because they enjoyed it so much.
If you are one of those photographers that joined, thank you so much for being a part of this amazing journey .
Yes I will be continuing these events in the future right now I have my eye on the last week of October. 😆😍🐎

I will be using the next few weeks to get ready for two big events where I will be selling prints of the horses and of my BarnBuds project. If you are not familiar with my farm animal project you can scroll down a bit here and see the quirky colorful fun photos I took a few years back. 🐷🐮🐔🐴
I will be in Tacoma October 15-18 at the Dome for the holiday festival and in Portland, November 6-8. It’ll be great to see people come visit me at my new booth. 🥰

I’ve been asked by photographers that are not local whether i will have an option of two consecutive days they can fly in for.
So here it is, September 12 and 13.!
This will be the only option this year.
You will get a minimum of three sessions and if weather permits, you will get a bonus session, the fourth one.
The price is a bit less than what you would pay for three separate sessions, and I am almost confident you will get 4.
This is open, obviously also for local photographers.
