Such a special space to explore.
Forgotten Works Studio is filled with creativity, character, and a touch of cinematic magic. The owners are talented photographers, visionaries, and set designers who make every corner inspiring.

From phenomenal weapon props to beautifully designed themed sets, this studio offers endless opportunities for creativity.

I had the best time capturing their grand opening and connecting with so many wonderful people in the creative community.

The moment it all begins...
That just-married glow, the cheers, the joy, the overwhelming love from friends and family — it never gets old.

Every wedding I photograph is so different, and each one is so full of heart. The way couples look at each other, the laughter, the quiet moments, the wild dance floor energy — every celebration is its own little universe.

It’s always such a joy and an honor to be invited into these once-in-a-lifetime days.
Still smiling thinking about this one.

Flat lays are one of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding.

They might look like a stroke of luck or a quick setup, but that’s never the case. It’s actually one of the only moments during the day when I get to slow down and have complete control over what’s in front of my lens. Most of the day, I’m adapting: working with the lighting, the timeline, the venue, the people. But this part is mine to create.

I always start with the main piece. For weddings it’s the rings. For commercial work it might be a product. Then I build around it, adding, removing and shifting tiny details until the whole thing starts to breathe. I take a wide shot first, step back, look at what the camera sees and adjust if needed. Then I move in, capturing the layers and textures, the little things you might miss at first glance.

Sometimes I take it all apart and rebuild something new. Maybe just the rings and vow books. Maybe the perfume bottle and florals. I love starting big, then slowly pulling pieces away until it feels clean and intentional.

It’s quiet work in the middle of a loud, fast-moving day, and I really love it.

Which do you prefer: a rich, full flat lay or a stripped-down minimal one?

Some photos deserve more than a scroll—they deserve a space on your wall.

This gorgeous sunset shot was taken just after a beach ceremony, during one of those rare golden hour moments where everything feels still and magical. It’s the kind of memory that should be printed and framed, not buried in a camera roll.

When I photograph weddings, I’m not just thinking about the album or the sneak peeks—I’m imagining what will hang in your home 5, 10, 20 years from now.

Your wedding photos are part of your legacy. Let’s turn them into art.

There’s just something about the first dance, parent dances, and that moment when the party really starts… ✨ The energy, the love, and the way the dance floor comes alive, it’s pure magic. Maybe I’m biased because I love dancing so much, but honestly, these are some of my favorite parts of a wedding day. šŸ’ƒšŸ•ŗ

From sweet, emotional moments to full-on dance floor fun, these memories are what make a wedding unforgettable. And I love being there to capture it all. šŸ’–

Where would you have your wedding?
On the beach, in the forest, a sunny open field, or a dreamy indoor venue?

Your wedding location should reflect you, your vibe, your story, your people. ✨
I've been lucky to photograph weddings in all kinds of places: barefoot on the sand (this one is my favorite), cozy indoor venues in Oregon and Washington, and open-air ceremonies surrounded by trees or mountains. Each one is beautiful because it’s true to the couple.

So tell me…
What kind of location feels most like you? šŸ’šŸ‘‡

Not every wedding has an exit, but when they do it right… it’s unforgettable. 🄹✨

I don’t get to see send-offs like this very often, so when they happen, I’m all in. The lights, the laughter, the celebration at the very end of the night make it such a fun and meaningful way to close the day.

If you're planning your wedding, think about adding an exit moment. It’s not just great for photos. It gives your day the perfect closing chapter.

Have you ever seen a wedding exit that totally wowed you?

Some venues take your breath away the moment you arrive. This wedding had one of my favorite views, with Mt. Hood in the distance creating the perfect backdrop. The arch and table setup were simple, yet with that view everything came together so beautifully.

Even more special, it was a celebration of love between two amazing brides. Every detail and every moment felt unforgettable. šŸŒˆšŸ¤

A few years ago I had the joy of photographing my friend’s daughter’s QuinceaƱera, and what an amazing celebration it was. From the heartfelt family moments to the incredible dance performances, the energy in the room was unforgettable. Hard to believe she just graduated high school last year. Time really does fly! šŸ’ƒāœØ

We live in a world where everything stays on a screen. Scroll, post, save, repeat. But photos are meant to be more than that. They should live in your home, on your walls, or in a photo book you can flip through with friends and family.

No matter the occasion, print your photos. A wedding, a trip, your kids growing up, or even the everyday little moments. Digital files are convenient, but they don’t feel real until you can hold them in your hands or see them hanging where you pass by every day. That’s when they become part of your life, not just part of your hard drive.

So here’s your reminder: don’t just hoard your memories, print them.
