Today Bebe and I saw Acadia from a completely different perspective—a Bar Harbor nature cruise! 🐶⛴️💙
Getting out on the water gave us incredible views of the Acadia coastline that you simply can't get from the road. We cruised past Egg Rock Lighthouse, spotted eagles soaring and perched all around us, and got to see some of Acadia's most beautiful landmarks from the water.
And of course, Bebe was right there taking it all in with me. 🐾❤️ She's becoming quite the little travel expert!
There's something special about seeing the mountains rise directly from the ocean. The rugged coastline, islands, wildlife, and crystal-clear Maine air made this one of my favorite Acadia experiences yet.
Between hiking the trails, driving the Park Loop Road, chasing sunsets, and now exploring from the water, I've experienced Acadia from just about every angle—and somehow it keeps getting better.
And yes... the bird nerd was VERY happy about all those eagles! 😂🦅💚

Another day exploring the incredible coast of Maine! 🌊💙
I made my way to Otter Point in Acadia National Park, where the rugged coastline and crashing Atlantic waves created some absolutely beautiful scenery. The rocky shoreline, ocean breeze, and endless views made it another one of those Acadia stops where I could have stayed for hours.
Then it was off to Bar Harbor to wander around and take in the charm of this classic New England coastal town. From the harbor views to the shops, historic buildings, and boats coming and going, it was the perfect way to finish the day.
Acadia has completely won me over. Between the mountains, lakes, rocky coastline, and little coastal towns nearby, there seems to be something incredible around every corner.
Still not ready to leave Maine! ❤️🌊🗼

Today I hiked the entire loop around Jordan Pond, one of Acadia National Park's most iconic spots. 🥾🏞️
It was definitely more crowded than some of the quieter places I've explored in the park, but honestly... it was still worth it!
The trail winds around the crystal-clear pond with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, rocky shoreline, forests, and those classic Acadia landscapes that make you stop every few minutes for another photo. 📸💙
After finding the peaceful solitude of Bubble Pond, Jordan Pond was a completely different experience. More people, more activity, but also an incredible trail that lets you experience the lake from so many different angles.
Sometimes you have to share the view to experience one of the places that makes a park famous—and Jordan Pond definitely earned its reputation.
Acadia keeps finding new ways to impress me! 🌲⛰️💙

I think I found one of Acadia's hidden gems. 💎🏞️
Today I hiked around Bubble Pond, and the conditions couldn't have been more perfect. Not a cloud in the sky, calm water, and a beautiful mountain landscape reflected perfectly across the lake.
It was one of those places where everything just seemed to line up. The kind of peaceful scenery that makes you slow down, look around, and think, wow... I'm really lucky to be here.
After exploring some of Acadia's more famous sights, discovering a quieter spot like Bubble Pond was such a treat. No crowds, no rush—just an incredibly beautiful lake surrounded by Maine's rugged landscape.
Definitely adding this one to my list of Acadia favorites! 💙

Ending the day at Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse was absolutely magical. 🌅🗼💙
Perched on the rocky Maine coastline, this iconic lighthouse is beautiful any time of day—but watching the sun go down over the water made it something truly special.
The warm evening light, crashing waves, rugged rocks, and that classic Maine lighthouse created one of those moments where you just stop taking pictures for a second and take it all in.
I've seen some incredible lighthouses on this journey, but this one might be one of my favorites.
And yes... the bird nerd was watching the coastline too. 😂🐦

Today I drove the Park Loop Road through Acadia National Park, and wow... this drive did not disappoint! 🚐💙
One minute I was looking out over dramatic ocean cliffs and the rugged Maine coastline, and the next I was surrounded by peaceful forests and serene mountain lakes.
It felt like every turn brought another postcard-worthy view. 🌊⛰️🌲
That's what I'm loving about Acadia—it's not just one spectacular viewpoint. The entire drive is an adventure, with something beautiful waiting around practically every corner.
I pulled over more times than I can count because there was always another view I just had to photograph. 😂📸
And I'm officially starting to understand why Acadia has become one of my favorite national parks. This place is absolutely stunning!

I didn't quite make it to Cadillac Mountain for sunrise... but honestly, it was still absolutely worth it! ⛰️💙
The drive to the summit was an adventure all by itself, winding through the beautiful landscape of Acadia National Park. And once I reached the top, the views made me forget all about missing that early-morning sunrise.
From the summit, the landscape seems to stretch forever—rocky coastline, islands, forests, and the sparkling Atlantic all coming together into one incredible view.
Would I love to come back and experience sunrise from the top someday? Absolutely. 🌅
But today was a reminder that sometimes you don't have to experience a place at its "perfect" moment for it to be amazing.
Acadia is already living up to everything I hoped it would be... and I'm just getting started! 🏔️🌊❤️

Today was a travel day, and even the miles between adventures can be beautiful! 🚐🌲
We passed the incredible Penobscot Narrows Bridge on our way toward Acadia National Park, and of course, I had my favorite travel companion keeping a very close eye on everything from the passenger seat. 🐶❤️
Just look at that face! Bebe may be small, but she takes her job as official road-trip supervisor VERY seriously. 😂
We finally made it to Acadia, and I'm already convinced this place is something special. The coastline, mountains, forests, and incredible views are unlike anything I've experienced so far on this journey.
And trust me... wait until you see what Acadia looks like! 🌊⛰️
I'm already calling it one of my favorite national parks—and I haven't even finished exploring it yet!

Today was another perfect combination of coastal views and wildlife, which is pretty much my idea of a perfect day! 🗼🦆💙
First stop was the iconic Nubble Lighthouse in York. Sitting out on its rocky island with the Atlantic crashing around it, this lighthouse is every bit as beautiful as the pictures make it look. It's easy to see why it's one of Maine's most photographed landmarks.
Then it was time to get back to what this bird nerd loves most—wildlife! 🐦💚 I explored Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge and enjoyed the peaceful marshes, coastal habitat, and all the wildlife that calls this area home.
I absolutely love how New England keeps giving me these incredible combinations of history, coastline, and wildlife. One minute I'm photographing a lighthouse, and the next I'm looking for birds!
Maine... you're off to a pretty fantastic start. 🗼🌊🐦

One more round of exploring Salem before moving on! 🖤
I visited the Salem Maritime National Historic Site, wandered through the historic waterfront, and stopped to see the famous Bewitched statue of Samantha. Of course, no trip to Salem would be complete without a few more photos of the beautiful old buildings and streets downtown.
I loved how every part of Salem seemed to tell a different story—from its maritime history to the witch trials, historic homes, and even its place in pop culture.
These are some of my final photos from wandering around downtown Salem... although I'm pretty sure Salem isn't finished with me yet. 😉
