FROGGY FRIDAY 🐸
This little one has been my profile picture for years… and for good reason. 💛
The froggy pose is one of my most requested newborn poses because it shows off all those beautiful newborn details at once — tiny fingers, squishy cheeks, perfect lips, little toes, and that sweet sleepy expression.
But here’s something many parents don’t know:
⚠️ This is a composite image.
At no point is baby supporting their own head or holding this position independently. Two images are carefully combined in Photoshop while baby is supported the entire time.
A properly trained newborn photographer also understands how to position baby safely so their airway remains open. Improper positioning can place pressure on the neck or push the tongue backward, which can restrict breathing.
A beautiful image is never worth compromising a baby’s safety.
When choosing a newborn photographer, always ask about newborn safety training and whether advanced poses like this are created as composites.
Because the goal isn’t just beautiful photos—it’s getting beautiful photos safely. 💛
