I adore the charming little streets of Old New Castle and was super excited to do a photoshoot there.

Willa and Leo were absolutely perfect! I’ve always admired Willa’s calm, steady nature with both dogs and people, and as a dog trainer, that is important when building trust and connection. She approached the session with that same energy and absolutely nailed it.

And then we have Leo 🥰 who was perfect during the session. He has the sweetest face and such an easy, happy energy — calm and well-mannered, but still full of personality. He was completely tuned in the entire time and handled everything so effortlessly - such a lovely example of Willow’s training with him and the bond they’ve created with each other.

I’m really hoping to do more of these two this summer!!

You don’t have to travel miles to get completely different looks in your photos.

This second round of images at SNF were taken literally a few feet away and now we have a whole new vibe of cuteness!

Photoshoots at SNF always fill my soul

This was the first time meeting Whiskey and he is absolutely the kindest little quarter horse with the sweetest expression. I see many more photos of him in his future.

Then we have the labs, Piper & Brewer. They came in close running to stealing the entire show 🥰

I thought I was primarily an equine photographer but over the last few years I’ve accidentally also become a dog photographer - because, you know, what horse person doesn’t have a dog (and if you don’t, you probably should 😊)?! I’m now getting more dog clients than horse clients, and I’m here for it!

The care and dedication Kelly gives to her dogs—and truly all dogs—is remarkable. I know Laila had the best life and was deeply, wholeheartedly loved. She was incredibly lucky to land in the family that she did.

Each and every time I’m asked, I feel both honored and humbled to be trusted in capturing the final photos of a living being so deeply loved. Farewell photos break and melt my heart equally….every time.

“The quirky queen herself went to the rainbow bridge today after a 5 month long battle with kidney disease. I am forever grateful to have been her person. She brought countless smiles to the residents she visited at The Mary Campbell Center and never ending giggles from our household for her goofy personality. Our hearts will hurt forever.

Thank you Anecia Delduco for having your beautiful boy model my first handmade wreath! He looks gorgeous!

The wreath was made in blue and white for a wintery feel but we changed the flowers digitally to red for Christmas. Now I don’t know which I like better!

We did these photos the last week of November, the day it turned cold and windy🥶 I was in full winter gear, long underwear and all. Kailee, in her light flowing dress, held these moments with Fern for at least an hour without a single complaint, as though it was the first day of spring!

They couldn’t look prettier.
