Golf is not about how much you spend or what number the course is on any list..it is getting outdoors with fellow minded people who enjoy hitting the ball well and enjoying the company. It is not about how great the bar or dinner or clubhouse is. Affordable golf on courses that are interesting need to be accessible. I belonged to several private clubs. I now play at a course that is public. I find new friends and golfers all of the time. It is not about bucket list courses. To me it is about all sorts of designs and architecture. I have supported the from the beginning. There aren't many Walter Travis courses left, not to mention almost no reversible courses (like St. Andrews Old Course). We don't need fountains or waterfalls. Green structures matter. Don't let East Potomac and the other SC public courses get taken over for greed and naming rights.

Started and ended at the same place but feel I made great progress with my swing and game. The highest score was from back tees when the greens were 14+ stomp and crazy puns for a four all I played by myself, but the 69 was also a four ball I played by myself from white tees and the first round I can ever remember that I did not make a single bogey (or higher) in a round. Great year and love being a member of So many great people, so many great events, and very competitive and fun. I get to play in MSGA, GAP and DSGA events. Beat event was the MSGA Super Seniors at Maryland Golf & CC, where I finished 7th. Loved Bala as well for the GAP Super Seniors.

Helping feed people for the Holidays. Canned and boxed food, bread, butter, eggs, chicken and vegetables, people assembling to help with filling the boxes and distribution. Over 160 boxes delivered. Many hands make short work. Oxford Presbyterian Church, Oxford PA. So proud to be a member of this church and this community. It takes a village.

Got to work on my neighbors clubs. He got them at a garage sale for next to nothing. BeCu Ping Eye2, including the L wedge. Aldila HM-40 shafts. The long irons still had the Ping shaft label and the silk screen on the shafts. Awesome clubs. Golf www.boglegolf.com
