ABOUT

My current passions and enjoyment within the realm of photography spans Cityscapes, Landscapes, and Portraits. Although most items may originate from the New England area; I enjoy taking my camera and equipment when possible when traveling arises. Photography for me has always been a hobby of mine. From the creation of a pin hole camera in grade school, to the evolution and upgrade to an IP

hone, to finally purchasing my first camera. In doing so, it's truly opened my eyes the environment and surrounding around me. From the small flowers in the sidewalk cracks to the grand scale Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada. All things I wish to capture, immortalize, and share with anyone who cares to see. Often photography to others may seem like a lonely path, scouring various terrain in search of a prized picture or subject. However, my experience and many others has been quite the opposite. The photography, and film community is a full community of those who collaborate, share ideas, and go on midnight missions together to explore what is lurking in the night. First hike Suveer moving to Seattle last week. Fun 14 miler in Mount Baker National Forest. This trail just kept deliver beautiful views and lakes.

I’ve been trying to get a decent photo of this Great Blue Heron all summer.

I see it on the same stretch of river almost every time I hike there, and every time it plays out the same way: I come around a bend, my brain registers something sticking out of the water, I assume it’s a branch, then it moves and I realize it’s the bird. By the time I get the camera up, it’s already leaving.

The worst part isn’t even that it flies off. It’s that it flies low over the river like it might land somewhere close, glides around the next bend, and then just disappears.

Today I saw it early in the hike and missed the close shot again. Later, Atlas and I were sitting by the river for a while, and after maybe ten quiet minutes it slowly worked its way back around the corner. Still far away, but close enough.

Not the photo I wanted, but after spending the whole summer getting outmaneuvered by this thing, I’ll take it.
