Corey Bunnell, 33 from Thurston County is wanted by the Washington State Department of Corrections for violating the terms of his community custody on the original charge of Auto Theft.

A Secretary's Warrant was issued for his arrest on April 8th, 2026.

Shooting with One Injured:

On June 6th at 8:02 p.m., deputies were dispatched to reports of a shooting, and a male victim, in his 40s, was lying on the sidewalk of the 10900 block of Park Ave. S in Parkland.

When deputies arrived, they administered lifesaving medical aid prior to Fire arriving.

Witnesses reported shots came from a vehicle that sped off after the male was struck.

Deputies conducted an area check and interviewed witnesses.

No suspects or vehicle involved have been located at this time.

The male was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. This investigation remains active.

S*x Offender Arrest:

On June 7th, around 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to apartments in the 14100 block of Meridian E on South Hill regarding multiple complaints about a male lurking in the complex, speaking to children, and trying to get them to play with him.

The deputies made contact with the male, and the suspect refused to stop moving around and remain seated, so the deputies asked him to sit on the ground.

The deputies establish reasonable suspicion to detain the male while they investigate further.
The male refuses to get into the police vehicle while they investigate.
Several attempts to negotiate with him to get into the car end with negative results, and a long struggle ensues.

Eventually, the 31-year-old suspect is finally placed into the police car, and probable cause is established for interfering with the investigation and violating his s*x offender terms.
He was later booked into the Pierce County Jail.

Lacey Police responded to a call of 2 males passed out in a vehicle in a parking lot.

Officers arrived to find both passed out with paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Both refused to identify themselves and then took off.

Officers followed and will be searching the area for them.

Collision involving a Yelm Police Officer from earlier today.

The officer and his passenger were transported to St. Peter's Hospital with injuries.

Vehicle One was turning from northbound Killion Road Southeast onto State Route 510 Alternate in lane one of one.

Vehicle Two was traveling eastbound State Route 510 Alternate at Killion Road Southeast in lane one of one.

Vehicle One struck Vehicle Two.

Vehicle One came to rest in lane one of westbound State Route 510 Alternate.

Vehicle Two came to rest on the right shoulder of westbound State Route 510 Alternate.

The roadway was blocked for two hours and thirty-eight minutes.

Fatal Traffic Collision last night in Lacey.

1 person was confirmed Deceased at the scene and 1 person was Injured and transported to St. Peter's Hospital.

The driver of vehicle one Oscar Herrera Rodriguez, was charged with Vehicular Homicide and Vehicular Assault.

Vehicle One and Vehicle Two were traveling southbound I-5 at MP110 in lane two of three.

Vehicle One struck the rear of Vehicle Two.

Vehicle Two rolled onto its passenger side.

Vehicle One came to rest on the right shoulder.

Vehicle Two came to rest in the trees on the right shoulder.

The roadway was blocked for seven hours and fifty-two minutes.

Olympia Troopers at the scene of a 2-car rollover fatality collision on SB I-5 at MP110. The driver of the victim vehicle is deceased with one female passenger in that vehicle transported to the hospital.

Traffic is reduced to the left lane while Detectives investigate.
