I've taken many team photos of my boys and their baseball teams over the years, but this set I took for the graduating seniors on my son's high school team will be all-time favorite.
I mean, THEY ARE SO COOL 😎

I was honored to be asked to take these and more than happy to donate my time and the gallery to the team and their families. I mention this because this team needs your help.

With increasing financial challenges facing school activities within the ICCSD, fundraising plays a huge role in helping provide opportunities and resources for our student-athletes. Any support is greatly appreciated by our players and coaches.

Does location matter? Absolutely. Just not in the way most people think.

Clients often feel pressure to choose a trendy location or a spot they've seen in other photos. But some of my favorite images have been created in places most people wouldn't notice twice.

What catches my eye isn't the location itself. It's the soft light, the way the tree filters the setting sun, and the feeling the scene creates.

This dreamy spot isn't at a popular park or a well-known photo location. It's literally a ditch along a gravel road.

When you know what you're looking for, it's not really about the location at all. It's about the light, the composition, and the story unfolding within it.

There's nothing I find more relatable than three boys. In these moments I am in my element. I love LOVE this age so much and would give anything for my boys to be this age again for just a day. 🥹 These three brothers never disappoint during our sessions. They're always sweet and hilarious, and I am here for it!

Local friends, who wants a photo shoot on these joyful and fun spinning tops?! I’ve utilized these before during a downtown Iowa City senior session and think it would be so fun with some littles.
