Yesterday I did a photoshoot with sweet Stella. Her owner, Kristen, reached out to me over Thanksgiving and I knew we needed to make this happen quickly for their family. Stella’s a hospice pup that’s 10 years old and in kidney failure and potentially battling cancer. She was the calmest during her session and really seemed to like being the star of the show. Her family doesn’t know how much time they have left with her, but they’re spending it loving on her and celebrating the beautiful life they’ve shared with her so far.
What Kristen said about life with Stella, “Stella has always been the best dog we could have ever asked for. She's so sweet, smart, inquisitive, and so lovable. She has spent so much of her life playing catch with the tennis ball, going for walks, and most recently the last few years being the best dog to our little humans. Our kids absolutely adore her and she is so gentle with them. She's a spoiled girl, but she deserves it. ☺️
It's not fair that dogs can't live as long as we live.”
