I’ve been holding onto these stunning maternity portraits since the weekend of that big Hudson Valley winter storm.

After one reschedule and some seriously freezing temps (we’re talking can’t-feel-your-fingers cold 😅), we finally made it happen.

And even though we were absolutely frozen by the end… it was 1000% worth it.

I mean, look at this gorgeous mama!

What makes this session even sweeter? Their little guy decided he was ready to meet them just a couple weeks later. We seriously captured these moments at the most perfect time.

I’m so proud of this sweet couple for rolling with the weather, trusting me through all the changes, and embracing the cold for memories they’ll have forever 🥰

Steph + Tim booked their session on their actual 1st wedding anniversary (!!) and it was just the best ever!

-Golden hour totally showed up.
- I found a new favorite spot.
- We talked and laughed the whole way through!

It didn’t feel like a “formal” anniversary shoot.
More like: let’s celebrate year one by having fun, soaking it all in, and making some magic while we’re at it.

I love this time of year so much and this sweet family reminded me why I do what I do.

Last time I photographed them, they were a family of four and since then, they’ve welcomed their third little one (who is absolutely adorable).

What I loved most? Their daughter Millie picked up right where we left off! She was giving me her creative ideas along the way + even took a few photos of her mom and dad (with my help, of course 😉). She was so proud and totally motivated by being the “photographer’s assistant” aat the end 😂

Fall sessions always bring out the best little moments. The in-between stuff is honestly my favorite… giggles between “poses,” kids just being themselves, and the way parents look at their babies without even realizing it.

That’s the stuff I want to freeze for you too. The real stuff.

One of my last golden summer sessions before the busy fall season kicked off! This one was extra special — parents, their kids, and three grandsons… a house full of boys (just like mine!). 💙 There was so much laughter, and love packed into this session, and it reminded me how priceless it is to capture these in-between seasons of family life- especially with Grandparents!

As I wrap up summer and dive head-first into busy fall + holiday sessions, I’m just so grateful for families who invite me into these sweet moments. 💛

This senior session was at one of my favorite garden + mansion spots that's always a dream, but when the rose garden is in full bloom- it's my favorite and Grace was absolutely stunning during her session!
