Meet Ella - Musical Theater star in the making! It was time for updated head shots for some upcoming auditions and at this age, kids change so much, so quickly, that it is really important to have an accurate representation of who they are. Having known Ella since she was born (!!) I can tell you that she is as sweet and stunning in real life as she is in her pictures. And just wait until you see her dance pictures .

Im a great photographer, but a TERRIBLE social media poster. I am going to try to go through some of the backlog so you can see some of the incredible people I’ve been shooting lately! We are going to start with Elizabeth, a yoga and somatic awareness teacher in Kingston. She needed a cohesive look for her new website and wanted images that were a little more dramatic than the typical presentation in this field. We really knocked it out of the park and she was thrilled to have a catalogue of pictures that worked in synergy with one another and made a powerful statement about who she is. When Stephanie said she was getting married at city hall, she was slightly worried that the venue wouldn’t be conducive to getting beautiful images. After doing a little recon work, I told her confidently that it would not be a problem. Sure we had to move podiums, trash cans, and barricades, but I knew with the right lighting and composition- we would strike gold. 😍

Meet Maia - Trained opera singer from the age of 8! Jazz vocalist, actor, director. She needed new headshots to cover the myriad of potential uses in her arsenal. She new she wanted dark backgrounds and lots of drama - which we accomplished with a multitude of lighting setups. Lighting is one of the biggest influences in how the feel of an image comes across. Each one of these images tells a different story through tone and expression, even though they are all dark background with black clothing.

Maia is as kind and engaging as she is stunning. Nothing makes me happier than giving clients photos that reflect both!

Senior Spotlight: AVA
Her inspiration? Dark forest fairy. I was ALL IN. She likes bugs and dirt and all the things deep within the soil and she was fearless in her shoot! I absolutely loved this session and become illuminated when my seniors (or anyone really) wants to do something out of the box. Let’s dream and create magic together!

Senior Spotlight - Bridget!

Bridget’s senior photoshoot really captured her spirit - kind, sweet, funny and warm. She’s an outdoor kid at heart, so we knew we wanted to have the session somewhere outside, and everything came together perfectly to highlight her natural beauty. She was game for anything and that led to this stunning set of images. You rocked this session Bridget! Absolutely gorgeous! :-)

Congrats to this beautiful couple on their engagement! In order to beat the crowds, I had to start my hike to Skytop at 7am so I could strategically hide for the surprise proposal. If you know me personally, you know I’m an indoor cat at heart, but I will army crawl through tall muddy grass if it means getting the shot! It was all worth it for this absolutely stunning session with the kindest, sweetest couple around! Congrats Kevin and Emily! Wishing you all the best!
