We took the drive out to New Iberia in March for Mckenzie and Malachi's wedding at The Avery Venue, and this day had a little of everything.
Two first looks, planned that way. Her dad saw her first, and he was emotional before she even made it through the door. Malachi got his turn fifteen minutes later. Then a ceremony with the groomsmen in light blue and bridesmaids in pink, golden hour portraits outside, a money dance, and a cupcake tower instead of a traditional cake (the sharing-each-other moment turned into a friendly standoff, both of them trying to be nice about it and grinning the whole time).
And the exit. They disappeared and came back out in matching Wifey and Hubby sweatsuits for the streamer send-off. After nine hours in wedding clothes, honestly, smart.
Sydney with Silver Lining Curation kept the whole day moving without a hitch. Always a good sign when we see her name on a timeline.
