Tonight, I wanted to create a cinematic 1950s road-trip vibe—and thankfully, I had two sassy teenagers who were ALL IN. 😂

Were they a little hesitant about some of my odd poses? Absolutely. Did they question me? Nope. And LOOK HOW GOOD THEY DID. 👏🏼

The sweetest part? They told me they plan to keep these photos for when they go to college together, so they can look back and remember this night. 🥹

Last night’s session was SCREAMING Miranda Lambert — attitude, sass, and a whole lotta cowgirl. 🤠🔥

Gabby + Miah are actual cowgirls, so when we found a vintage-looking general store, an old Western tractor, and the perfect little backdrop… we threw it all together and let them do their thing.

I went in with one vision, Gabby had another, so we mixed the two — and somehow it came out even better than I expected. 🙌🏼

The sass. The attitude. The cowgirl energy. ALL OF IT.

So incredibly thankful for my family, my friends, and especially my amazing clients. 🤎

Tonight I photographed my Summer Mini Sessions at my friend’s property, which is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite places to capture memories!

Tonight included a sweet 4th birthday session, a family session, and another family celebrating their very first photos together. 🥹

Five years into this business, and I’m still so grateful for every person who trusts me with their memories—and even more grateful for the friendships and relationships that have grown along the way.

I truly wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you for continuing to choose me. 📸✨

Today, I watched Rita walk down the aisle and begin a beautiful new chapter. 🤍

Ten years ago, she lost her husband—a man she loved deeply and a father her daughter adored. That kind of love doesn’t disappear. But grief doesn’t mean life has to stop. Sometimes God opens another door when we least expect it.

And today, that door led Rita to Chuck.

I captured Chuck and Rita worshipping the Lord together before their family and friends, and it was such a beautiful reminder of the foundation they are building their marriage on.

Watching Rita’s daughter become emotional during the ceremony reminded me just how bittersweet a second marriage after loss can be. You can honor the love and memories of someone who is gone while still making room in your heart for something new.

Chuck is kind, loves working on cars and fishing, makes Rita laugh, and most importantly, loves the Lord.

Their story is proof that love doesn’t have an age limit. You’re never too old for a new beginning, new memories, laughter, companionship, and another chapter God has written for you.

Rita will always carry love for the life she had before, but now she gets to continue living, loving, and writing a new chapter with Chuck.

Sometimes love doesn’t replace the chapter before it—it simply turns the page. 🤍
