Still working to share more often on social media and I have a LOT of beautiful pictures from the last year or so to catch up on, but let’s start with Emily & Damon’s Downtown Elopement!

These two tied the knot at a simple and sweet ceremony outside the courthouse with their close family, but before that, we did a little photo session at their home with the Best Dog & Pup of Honor/Ring Bearer and got a ring shot I just love so much! 💕🐾

Sneak Peeks from Rachel & Sam’s wedding day are here!!

It may have been the hottest temps I’ve ever shot a wedding in (91 w 67% humidity 🫠) but man, these two looked so happy and content the entire day, there were times when I hardly even noticed that my entire face was dripping sweat! Also, it’s always a treat to shoot weddings when a dog is involved (pun intended, of course) and Alfie and his cuuuuute little bow tie collar were to die (in the heat) for. 😉

It was such an honor to be there for your day, thanks for asking me to document it, Rachel & Sam!!

Ryan + Karly’s Engagement

Since Ryan wanted to surprise Karly by asking her to marry him and have photos of it, I felt a little bit like a spy trying to make sure she didn’t realize I was there to take pictures of his proposal and still get a great angle for the shot of him kneeling down to pop the question…so naturally I hid in plain sight and sat down right in the middle of the park with my boyfriend (who is also friends with Ryan, but Karly hadn’t met yet) and tried to make it look like I was just there to enjoy the fantastic weather that day…

Somehow, it worked out perfectly and as Ryan got down on one knee, I whipped my camera out of my backpack and started snapping away while giving them a good amount of distance to make sure the moment wasn’t interrupted. After they’d had a minute to themselves once she had said yes and the ring was securely in place on her finger, we went up and congratulated them and introduced ourselves and assured Karly that we weren’t just strangers taking photos of strangers in the park. 😂

Since it was a gorgeous evening we got some formal engagement session photos right afterwords as well and I’ve gotta say - love them so much! It helped that the sun made such a gorgeous appearance on that early March evening, and that Ryan and Karly are so happy and clearly in love with each other.

This is one engagement session where everything came together so well and I was incredibly honored to be a part of it! Thank you Ryan and Karly with trusting me with getting this special moment for you, and I can’t wait to capture your wedding this summer!

Another sweet session from last summer with the Torrez family 💛

If they look familiar to you, then you get some brownie points for following along so well! I’ve been taking photos of Amanda and Roman all the way from their engagement to maternity, through the first year and now their daughter turning two! It had been so fun to follow the progress of their lives in photo form and catch up with them each time, I’m such a big fan of anytime I get to see past clients and work with them again!

Happy Friday Everybody!! Here are some photos from my most recent wedding, and the first New Year’s Day wedding I’ve ever photographed! I’m always crossing my fingers that winter wedding days will work well for photos. The day of Danielle & John’s wedding, there was the prettiest dusting of snow, and some really pretty backdrops onsite at all of our photo locations. I like how cozy these photos ended up coming out!

I’ve shared photos from ’s personal brand session a few times, so maybe you’ve seen her look like a professional medical boss in her scrubs and white doctor’s coat, but have you seen her in the pink power suit? No?

Well let me share with you the ‘fit that made me squeal out loud and then drop my jaw with how fun and cool it is when she first showed me that she had brought it along for her photoshoot.*

*(probably. I don’t actually remember how I responded when I first saw this suit, but I think it was probably along these lines)

I felt like Chloe’s branding session deserved a pt. 2 with so many photos from this session that I want to live on the timeline and be part of the portfolio forever. 💕

I got to get a facial by her and it was such a relaxing and calm experience! So excited for her and her career with aesthetics and artistry! Also her social media is pretty hilarious so go give her a follow!

Engagement and wedding photos are amazing and full of emotion and excitement, but I’ve got to say that anniversary photo sessions have their own special reverence and level of meaningfulness that I love to capture. This celebration of Ambréen and Nida’s 10 years married was exactly that.

This branding photography session with was everything. Why is it so much fun to me to get to take pictures of other people doing what they’re passionate about? Idk, but I wanna do more of it.

Lisa is a Feng Shui designer and coach with an interior design background who also has a podcast, so bringing all of those elements into the session was really fun, and I learned so much from her! Like, did you know that spikey plants and art featuring sharp lines aimed at you aren’t good for Feng Shui and will subconsciously make you feel less comfortable?! Now ya do!
